As in the original game, many levels have a twin here too, with the same setting, but a higher level of difficulty. This level is precisely a slightly more difficult version of Snow Go. In fact, it has the same elements and is divided into three zones: the first and last with frontal scrolling and the intermediate one with lateral scrolling. Be careful of the hedgehogs you meet in the second part: you can't attack them in any way when they have their quills out. The crystal is in the last zone. Here you will also find another reminiscence of the first game: the rolling stones.
The bonus round is found towards the end of the second area. Nothing complicated. Some boxes are very high up and you can only reach them with Crash's high jump, but that's about it. Breaking all the boxes and getting through the area is easy.
Getting the gem[edit]
To get a clear gem in this level, you must have already obtained the red gem from Snow Go. In the side scrolling area you will find the gem which will lead you to a secret area. Again, you have to go through a side scrolling area, but along the the path you will find many TNT and Nitro boxes and stones that can crush you. At the bottom you will also find the detonator to blow up all the Nitro boxes. If you make it past this area, breaking all the boxes in the rest of the level is easy and you will eventually get the gem.
