An even harder version of Hang Eight; nothing new anyway. As the name suggests, you will have to contend with many carnivorous plants, which will target you from the platforms even while riding the jet ski. After the second checkpoint you'll want to take the path to the right to take out the carnivorous plants before getting on the jet ski, or proceeding without getting hit will be very difficult. At the bottom of the level you will find the detonator to blow up all the Nitro boxes.
The bonus round is halfway through the course and presents no particular difficulty.
Getting the clear gem[edit]
No colored gems are required and there are no hidden areas. Finding and breaking all the boxes in this level is easy. At some points, you'll have to ride the jet ski at high speed on the diving boards to reach some suspended crates. Break all the boxes to get the gem at the end.
Getting the yellow gem[edit]
To get the yellow gem you have to pass a time trial, just like in the level mentioned above. Immediately after the first checkpoint a timer will appear in the lower right corner: you must reach the end of the level before time runs out to find the gem. This time reaching the gem in time and without dying is more difficult. To simplify things, you should enter the level already in possession of double a Aku Aku protection and always destroy the Aku Aku boxes along the way, to guarantee yourself protection against carnivorous plants. Just before the finish line in particular, proceeding without getting hit is extremely difficult, as you can't afford to waste time eliminating carnivorous plants to proceed safer. Having protection is therefore essential.
