The first part of the level is front scrolling. Enemies shouldn't bother you. Here you will encounter another obstacle: ice sheets on which Crash slides. Go through them carefully, being careful not to hit the dangerous boxes. You will then come to a platform that will lead you to the second area.

Here the action becomes side-scrolling. Quickly run under the stone statues, or an instant later they'll crush you. You'll also have to avoid the logs that drop from the ceiling, moving up and down. In this area you can also notice the red gem, in a vertical tunnel above you. You can't take it in any way at the moment, so ignore it. You will eventually come to a precipice, into which you will be forced to jump.

You will thus reach the last part of the level, in which the action returns to frontal scrolling. As soon as you arrive, move a few steps towards the screen to find the green (!) box and blow up all the Nitro boxes. In this area too, there are no major difficulties. Go all the way through it collecting the crystal along the way and you will reach the exit room.

The bonus area is found in the second part of the level. It's very linear and shouldn't cause you any problems. To reach a chest very high, however, you will have to use Crash's super jump, ducking and jumping immediately after.

Getting the clear gem[edit]

Getting the clear gem here is no problem. The only small difficulty lies in finding the green (!) box at the beginning of the third area, which is not immediately visible. Otherwise, finding and breaking all the boxes is simple.

Getting the red gem[edit]

To get the red gem, you must first reach the level Air Crash. In that level there is a portal there that leads to the secret Warp Room. Here you will find a portal with the inscription “Snow Go”. By entering this portal, you will enter this level, but in an area that you have not been to yet.

Carefully navigate this side-scrolling area, being careful of the icy surfaces and the numerous Nitro boxes. You will also encounter some rather insidious enemies. In this hidden area, however, there are also many extra lives to collect.

Eventually, you'll come to a vertical shaft. By jumping into it, you will get the red gem and return to the path you have already traveled. At this point, all you have to do is reach the end of the level by following the usual route.
