Gehenna Castle (ゲヘナ城)[edit]
This castle is very similar to Magic Castle Bergheim, in that you must flip pillar switches to open vine doors. The primary goal is to light up the three serpent panels on the third floor (just stand on them and press I). The castle itself has three entrances: center, left and right, and you will have to utilize them all to access each section's second and third floors. Once all three panels are glowing, you can access the vine door the upper second floor room. Follow the path from there and you will at last come face to face with Siegbalt. Jay says that he will not allow him to proceed further, but the emperor retorts that it is too late; the revival is complete.
Boss Battle: Siegbalt (ジークバルト)
Yes, that's right. You must destroy the four orbs before you can defeat him. Once he's dead, Gehenna rises from his corpse.
Final Boss Battle: Evil God Gehenna (邪神ゲヘナ)
Victory at last....
Well, not quite! Gehenna announces that he plans to merge with Lucifer himself. Lucifer Temple then appears in the distance.
Warp or walk out of the castle and then heal up and save at Abaddon. The townspeople say that Lucifer once started war in the heavens, which brought forth God's wrath. God sealed Lucifer inside of the temple, but no one had ever seen this temple until now. Lucifer is said to be a horrible monster who absorbs evil souls and devours evil hearts to become infinitely powerful.
When you're ready, head south of Gehenna Castle around the mountains to reach the final dungeon.
Lucifer Temple (ルシファーの神殿)
Oddly, in lieu of a new song for the final dungeon, we get the same peaceful theme from the other temples. Use the warps to make your way through the dungeon. You will know you are close to the end when you see the savepoint off to the left.
An FMV will play when you reach Lucifer. It seems that Murdock has also fused with him.
True Final Boss: Lucifer (ルシファー)
Be careful. The left shoulder can heal all parts for 99999 and the right shoulder can revive all parts! It is recommended to take them out like this: Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder, Po and then Lucifer.
After the battle, Lucifer makes one last ditch effort. He uses the Phantom Nightmare Wave (幻夢負流波) which has the capability of sucking all power out of a strong warrior and absorbing it into Lucifer's body. According to him, it is impossible to escape this attack.
Fortunately, however, Cindy has one more trick of her own. She reverses the attack so that it hits Lucifer instead. With the evil being weakened, Jay deals the fatal blow and destroys him.
All seems well, however, the bio-booster again begins to fail, and Jay dies. It is here that the final FMV plays.
