The Born from a Wish scenario is available in the Expanded edition. This is available in the Xbox and PC versions, or if you have the PS2 version labeled with Greatest Hits.

West South Vale[edit]

1. Maria starts with a revolver with one bullet. There's 20 revolver bullets on the shelf, two health drinks under the sink. Exit via the door near the sink.

2. Turn left, and exit through the door.

3. Collect the chinese cleaver near the bar, as well as the first aid kit. Exit is to the right of the bar.

4. Head south past Carroll St. skipping the hospital, two enemies are present. At the west end of Rendell St., revovler bullets are on the back bumper of the car. In the 2 hour parking on the north side of Rendell St., two health drinks next to the RV.

5. West end of Katz St., south-west corner has 20 revolver bullets, but be careful of the Mannequins. Gray car north of the Munson/Katz Intersection has 10 revolver bullets' near the front. Pickup truck near the Blue Creek Apartment has first aid kit and 10 revolver bullets. North end of Monson St. also has 20 revolver bullets.

6. The exit is on the east side of Munson St., north of the Blue Creek Apartment. The door is ajar, and there's a blood stain beneath the door.

7. Inside, there's two lying Figures, they are easily downed with the revolver. Be sure to perform a coup de grace. Enter the building's main door.

Baldwin House[edit]

8. In the mansion, enter the doors ahead. In the living room is a save point, 20 revolver bullets, first aid kit, and a map.

9. Contiune to the upper floor. 20 bullets on the stairwell. Trying to enter the lounge will have a scene with Maria speaking the Ernest Baldwin.

10. White Board on the balcony south of the Lounge. Health drink in the corridor past said balcony.

11. Return the Living room - as you approach, you should hear a loud bang and footsteps running away. In the living room, the fireplace is now open, and a ladder leads up. Near the head stone is a red board and black board. Place all three boards in the headstone in the correct orientation to get the Acacia Key.

The Three Boards

The headstone reads:

    Along with you died joy.
    All that remains is despair and a
    future of meaningless tomorrows.

    But I will never give up.
    One, to see your
    beautiful smile again.
    One, to beg the
    blessings of the Gods.
    I wait for that day.

    When the boards cover all
    All sadness too will be covered
    But until my dreams
    return to reality
    I will have to swallow
    all the pain.

The objective is to use the three boards to cover all the blue background. These boards have holes in them, which can leave some of the background uncovered unless they're rotated correctly.

When inserting the three boards, the white and black boards are inserted as-is, and the red board should be turned left.

These boards can be inserted in any order, but the first board is always as-is. If you insert the red board first, the white and black boards should be rotated right.

12. Return to the upper floor, head to the southern area. Unlock the door with the Acacia key.

13. In the Kid's room, collect Matches.

14. Head to the end of the corridor, ascend the stairs. You'll hear some noise, but need light to see. Use the Matches on the Candle near the staircase.

15. Look under the chair, there's a birthday card.

16. Head to the lounge, but there will be two creatures that appear in the way. In the Lounge is a book about the Acacia, as well as a first aid kit and two health drinks. Exit to the north.

17. Two beetles in the hallway, and one enemy behind the corner. Head downstairs.

18. One creature near the pantry. Enter the door next to the staircase.

19. Revolver bullets in the hallway. Revolver bullets and 2 health drinks in the service room.

20. Head to the study. The Bed Room is locked, but you'll give the letter from Amy. Ernst will direct you to get a white liquid from the apartment next door, and unlock the stairwell door on the south.

Blue Creek Apartments[edit]

21. Head down the stairs; exit door is left. Beetles are in the connecting corridor, and it leads to a small outside area. Inside the stairwell, there is a map on the second floor.

22. Head to room 105, it contains the white liquid. Return this to Ernst to end the scenario.

When the scenario is complete, the second and later playthroughs of the main scenario will have a blue gem at the beginning.
