I accept with pleasure the nomination for administrator. --Abacos (talk) 09:49, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve StrategyWiki in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with?
A: I will definitely help in cleaning up: my philosophy is that a player should spend less time reading a guide than playing the game; therefore, a guide must be complete and easy to check. I will also help deleting pages marked with {delete} (after appropriate discussion), and everything I will be asked to.
2. Of your articles or contributions to StrategyWiki, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A: I am very pleased with the Elnard and Ultima 6 guides, as well as the Character Class Triangle diagrams I make for every role-playing game I play.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: Unfortunately, I had been the one who caused stress, but from these conflicts I learned to smooth my edges. I think this nomination states that I effectively became a nicer person.

Please keep criticism constructive and polite.

  • I nominated Abacos, not because we agree on how guides should be formatted, but specifically because we sometimes disagree. Despite our disagreements, Abacos always presents his arguments in a straightforward manner that is often hard to argue against. And he has even swayed my opinion on occasion. Among all of our active, non-administrative users, I believe Abacos is one of the biggest contributors, on some serious guides. He is very dedicated, has been an active contributor for quite a long time, and I believe he fully understands the policies of the site. More over, I am confident that he will act in the best interests of the community. Procyon 20:39, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Post-election comment: I haven't been active for a while, but I only have a good impression of Abacos, from respect to critical thinking, grmamar, and a drive for content creation. If he is turning his efforts site-wide to help with the community, then I support his nomination. Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 04:30, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
