The rowing event requires you to travel 250m. Contestants are paired with one another, or against the computer pacer. Players are ranked based on how quickly they complete this event.
When the clock starts, you will need to row down your lane as quickly as possible. To advance, alternate between left and right; pushing the joystick left will pick up your oars, and right will cause you to go forward.
The computer pacer, by default, will act clumsily. While it will increase speed if overtaken, it generally wins the match only if the human player waits for a period of time.
The world record is 26.9 seconds.
