Minneapolis, Minnesota: home of the Vikings, the Mississippi River, and some great skating spots. This is the first level that introduces traffic, so watch out for cars or they'll run you down. If you really look around, you might find a way to get to the rooftops.

15,000 / 40,000 Points[edit]

This is another huge level with many spots to do combos, but it's wise to avoid the streets as crashing into cars counts as a bail. Where you start is a good place to pull off a combo if you jump to your right off a kicker, grind the edge of the platform, jump right to a rail in front of a big screen, and grind again, doing simple flip tricks along the way. The fountain and the large plaza are two wide open places with lots of ramps to do air tricks. The fountain also has rails and planters to grind and the inside of the plaza's building has a suspended rail with three 500s floating nearby. Finally, there's the secret path that leads up to the rooftops. Use the abandoned truck to leap up toward it and land on the first rail with a grind for a great combo. If you can grind all three rails up ahead in one combo, doing flips between grinds, you'll get at least 15,000 points, no sweat.

Break 5 No Skating Signs[edit]

Like the directories at the Mall, there are five skating signs that you must destroy by skating through them in one session.

  1. The first one is just ahead from your starting position; it's mounted on a pathway that leads to the fountain.
  2. The second one is on the other fountain pathway. If you just got the first one, just take a left past the fountain to find it.
  3. Adjacent to the fountain area, there's two quarter pipes with a large deck between them. The next sign rests on top of this deck.
  4. The fourth sign is placed behind your starting position, on a higher street. If you got the third one, just go down the street and you'll find it to the right of the large kickers.
  5. The final one is at the plaza that has two large screens and a building with three 500 bonuses in front of it.

Get S-K-A-T-E[edit]

A couple of these letters are pretty high up, so make sure your special meter is full so you can grab some of these.

  • S - At the start, use the kicker to jump up to the platform on your right. Once up there, grind the rail in front of the huge screen and leap off the end to get the first letter.
The E on a high wire.
  • K - The K is hovering above the top point of the fountain. Use the fountain itself to ollie up there.
  • A - To the right of the plaza with the large building is a quarter pipe. The A rests just at the left edge of that quarter pipe.
  • T - Way high up, the T rests in the walkway that leads to the roof. You can get this letter by two ways: use one of the kickers on the street and ollie high to it or leap toward a pathway by an abandoned truck up ahead, leading you to the walkway where you can get the T.
  • E - The last letter is on a power line between two buildings, just behind the starting point. You can get up there by either using one of the kickers on the street or wallriding the building and jumping toward it. Grind the wire to get the E.

Hidden Tape[edit]

The hidden tape between two roofs.

To the right of the plaza with two large screens facing each other, there's an idle truck with a curved ramp that leads into a path. Use that ramp to get into the path and skate across the walkway to the roof. While up there, go over a ramp to another rooftop surrounded by pipes with ramps between them. Do some air tricks to build up your speed and leap off a ramp that points toward yet another rooftop with a built-in pool. Between those two roofs is the hidden tape. Try not to fall down the street; at best, you may have enough time for one more attempt if you miss.

Point Locations[edit]

100 Points
  1. At the starting point, in the alleyway, a 100 rests in front of the left ledge. Ollie from the ledge for it.
  2. High above a sidewalk adjacent to the fountain area is another 100. One way to reach it is by launching off a kicker placed on the rooftop with the built-in pool.
  3. On the U-curved road, there are two kickers with an idle truck in-between the two. The 100 is over that truck.
  4. At the T-shaped intersection, there is a huge screen with a 100 right at the top. Use the quarter pipe to reach it.
  5. The final 100 is on the rooftop surrounded by quarter pipes and ramps. It's over the ramp that launches you toward the roof with the bowl.
200 Points
  1. From the starting point, if you go straight past the four way intersection, you should find a 200 resting above on a rail placed against a wall. Use a kicker to get up there.
  2. Continuing down the road, there's another 200 on another rail that can be reached by another kicker.
  3. The final one floats nearby the walkway. You can crash through the walkway's windows to get it or use a kicker.
500 Points
  1. At the fountain, there's yet another big screen with a 500 resting on top. Use the quarter pipe to fly to it.
  2. Past the deck with the two quarter pipes is a 500 above a very high wire. You'll have to use one of the large kickers ahead after gaining a lot of speed.
  3. The next 500 is in the Sucky Room. Perform the Sucky Room gap by going to the roof and launching off a kicker across the street toward a glass window.
  4. The entrance to the plaza's building is also breakable. A 500 is resting on a wire inside the building.
  5. Grinding the wire inside the plaza's building to the left will lead to you another 500 if you jump off at the right time.
  6. Another 500 rests to the right of the previous bonus; perform the same tactic as before, but in the other direction.
  7. The final one is on a rail that's above a part of the road that's under construction. Use the large ramp to jump up there and grind.

Gaps[edit]

  • Big Ass: At the plaza with the two giant screens, there is a raised platform in the middle of it. Leap from one end of the platform to the other.
  • BS Gap: There are bus stops with kickers on both sides. Use a kicker to leap over the bus stop.
  • BS Grind: It's the same principle as BS Gap except you must grind the bus stop instead.
  • Car Ollie: Jump over a parked car.
  • Cheesy Deck Gap, Deck Gap, Burly Deck Gap: There is a deck that's sandwiched between two quarter pipes and across the street from the fountain. Where you transfer from one quarter pipe to the other affects which gap you get: cheesy for the shortest end, regular for the middle, and burly for the wide part.
  • Death Rail Grind: On the roof with the built-in bowl, ollie toward one of the rails down below that lead you to the fountain. Use the small ramp as a guide on where you need to face.
  • Glass Gap: At the plaza, use the higher platform to ramp from it to the building with the glass entrance. You must jump over the entrance for this to count.
  • Kicker 2 Edge: In the alleyway where you start, you can use the kickers to launch to the platforms at the left or right and grind at the edges.
  • Kicker 2 Street: Right where you start, there's a kicker that will take you up to the elevated street behind you.
  • Kicker Gap: Jump from one kicker to the other in the alleyway.
  • Phat Gap: At the fountain, jump from one brick bank to the other, clearing over the path that leads to the fountain.
  • Rail 2 Rail Transfer: Nearby the deck with two quarter pipes, there are two rails on slopes. Grind from one to the other.
  • Roof 2 Roof: At the roof with the quarter pipes and ramps, there is a kicker that points toward another roof with a bowl installed and some rails. Leap from one roof to the other.
Ollie off this ramp toward the window.
  • Secret Tunnel Entrance: Using a kicker on the street, jump up toward the walkway, crashing through the window and landing inside.
  • Sucky Room Gap: There is a vacant room with only one 500 inside. To access it, you must go to the rooftops and then angle yourself toward a kicker facing the room. Ollie from the roof and crash into the window.
  • T 2 T Gap: Near the walkway, there is a parked truck on the street that points toward a window. Skate on the truck and leap toward the window.
  • Truck Gap: At the U-curved road, there is a stationed truck with a floating 200 and two kickers. Jump from one kicker to the other, clearing the truck.
  • Tunnel Gap: Using a kicker and lots of speed, ollie over the walkway that leads you to the rooftops.
  • Wimpy Gap: At the fountain, jump from the small planter to the top of the banks.
