Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is a one-on-one fighting arcade game, that had been developed by Digital Eclipse for Midway Games and released in 1995; it runs upon the company's new Wolf Unit hardware (the original Mortal Kombat 3 was their first game to run on this hardware in 1994, and it is comprised of a Texas Instruments TMS-34010 running at 6.25 MHz with an ADI ADSP-2105 running at 10 MHz, and a DMA-driven DAC for audio) and is the fourth title in the Mortal Kombat series. It is the same as the original Mortal Kombat 3 but for the introduction of nine new characters, five new stages (but two of the original ones have been removed), a 4-player "Two-on-Two Mode" and 8-player "Tournament Mode", a second Master, endurance rounds for both Masters, a Pit Fatal in Hell (with accompanying secrets), Classic Sub-Zero's Fatalities and the "Winner Fights Smoke" Kombat Kode now having an effect of the winning player fighting Human Smoke (instead of Cyborg Smoke) when it gets entered.
