'''SUMMARY'''

The Cave of the Stolen Fayth is the first and easiest optional Aeon dungeon in the game.  It consists of a fairly straightfoward path with several short branches that lead to treasure chests.

'''STORY'''

After venduring to the end of the cave, fighting the fiends along the way, you'll come to a small room, where a cutscene will show an unsent, which as Lulu reveals, was her first summoner she guarded.  You fight her, at which point she summons Yojimbo.  You need to defeat Yojimbo to continue.  Just use another Aeon, as most of his attacks are just his little dog, and he doesn't do much damage to an Aeon.

When you beat him, a teleportation tile will become active that teleports you to either one of two rooms with treasure, the beginning of the cave, or the Chamber of the Fayth. Enter the Chamber and try to gain Yojimbo.  He will ask you a question, and the three different answers will affect how much he charges, as this aeon is pretty much the hired help.  Literally. (what an aeon needs money for is well beyond me).  Answer 'To beat the most powerful of enemies', and he will want 250,000gil.  This amount may seem extreme, but you can haggle to a decent price.  To do this, halve the number he's requested, then add one, so you would tell him that you want 125,001.  His next offer will change to 225,000, so you halve that number again and add one.  His next offer will be his final one, 202,500, that's the lowest he will go, so take it or leave it (so far I haven't even used him in a battle, mainly because it's so expensive).

Story wise, most of the game is played as a flashback from the movie seen at the start, until the player reaches this point about four fifths of the way through the game (note that this does not affect gameplay in any way). The player starts in Zanarkand, and progresses through discrete areas, almost identical to how the walkthrough is set up. After the first 2 locations, you will generally move north through Spira, starting in the far south on Besaid Island, towards the climax of the journey: the Zanarkand Ruins.

About the game

Story wise, most of the game is played as a flashback from the movie seen at the start, until the player reaches this point about four fifths of the way through the game (note that this does not affect gameplay in any way). The player starts in Zanarkand, and progresses through discrete areas, almost identical to how the walkthrough is set up. After the first 2 locations, you will generally move north through Spira, starting in the far south on Besaid Island, towards the climax of the journey: the Zanarkand Ruins.
