After defeating the 2 trainers, talk to the girl standing next to the strange tree (the same strange tree you saw coming in from [[Pokémon Gold and Silver/Violet City|Violet City]]). She'll run back to the Florist Shop in [[Pokémon Gold and Silver/Goldenrod City|Goldenrod City]]; go back and talk to her there, then talk to her sister, who will give you a '''Squirtbottle'''. Go back to Route 36 and squirt the strange tree; it will reveal itself as a Pokémon: {{bp|Sudowoodo}}. It's the only one in the game, so if you want to "catch 'em all," use a Great Ball or Ultra Ball.

Here there will be 2 trainers and a girl next to the tree, talk to her then go to goldenrod and stock up on balls, then go to the flower shop (next to the Gym).  Get the Squirtbottle and save in front of the tree then soak {{bp|Sudowoodo}}, it attacks, it is a Level 20 grass and rock Pokémon so catch it, if you don't succeed then reload and try again, it is recommended that you use a great ball to catch it.

Route #36

After defeating the 2 trainers, talk to the girl standing next to the strange tree (the same strange tree you saw coming in from Violet City). She'll run back to the Florist Shop in Goldenrod City; go back and talk to her there, then talk to her sister, who will give you a Squirtbottle. Go back to Route 36 and squirt the strange tree; it will reveal itself as a Pokémon: Sudowoodo. It's the only one in the game, so if you want to "catch 'em all," use a Great Ball or Ultra Ball.
