Be selective[edit]

There is a large number of warp doors throughout this large stage, but you only need to utilize a handful of them to accomplish what you need to do and get out. If you're unfamiliar with the layout of the stage, it can be a challenge to keep your stay here short, but this guide can help you remain here for a minimum amount of time. The best news is, there is finally a Spring of Strength to visit, and it's conveniently located right next to the boss room so that you can visit before and after the boss battle. Enemies aren't swarming all over the place like they have in the past. Nyurus occupy most of the shafts in the game, but you should be a veteran at dealing with them by now.

Recommended route[edit]

Right from the start, be prepared to leap over a Joyraima as you approach warp door W1 to the left. Climb up the ladder and continue left until you reach the warp. When you arrive in the shaft, drop down the flight of steps to warp door W2. Take the warp and climb up the ladder on the left to door A and collect another Smasher. Then return to W2 and back to the shaft.

At this point, you want to begin ascending the steps all the way up to warp door W6, which is the last warp door on the right side. It is not worth visiting warp door W3 in order to reach door B and collect an Apple, since the Spring of Strength is even better, and there are many powerful boss-class enemies that roam the hallway of door B. You'll have to ascend the steps very carefully, as you will be attacked by a number of Nyurus. Clear them when they get in your way and continue when it is safe. Enter W6 and begin climbing up the steps to the series of doors that you will find at the top.

It is very important that you enter door D, the second door from the left, before you enter door C. This is your first opportunity in a long time to visit a spring, and the boss is quite strong. You can also visit door E if you feel that it's necessary to collect the Scroll and replenish some magic. When you feel prepared, enter door C and defeat the boss, Bospido, and collect the stage Ball.

Once you have the ball, return through W6 and continue your climb up the remainder of the left shaft. Then simply run to the right and climb down the first ladder that you see. The goal is down here. However, before you enter the door, hang around and fight some of the Nyurus for a while before leaving. This is a great opportunity to collect purple and blue potions that can extended your maximum HP and MP.

Boss: Bospido[edit]

HP: 2560
Power: 800

Bospido is every bit as tough, if not tougher than Byforce. The only difference is that you will have had a chance to visit a Spring of Strength and recover all of your hit points. As a result of this, you can pretty much throw strategy out of the window, and attack Bospido directly. Continue to flail your Flame Sword at him until he is defeated. If you have plenty of magic points, you can also use Flash for an easy victory. Just don't let Bospido scroll off the screen once you start damaging him, or he'll get all of his strength back. Then collect the Ball, and return to the spring to recover any health that you lost.

If you ever fear that you are running low on health, you can retreat to the far left corner of the room where Bospido has a difficult time reaching you. You will still have to be on the lookout for the fireballs he sends your way.
