The Woodland Outpost mission was introduced in America's Army: Special Forces (Firefight) (version 2.3.0). It is a 172nd Sep. Infantry BDE mission, as opposed to the Special Forces missions that were introduced in some previous versions of America's Army. The weapon loadout reflects that this is not a Special Forces mission.

There is an Assault and Defense team; Assault spawns on the east side of the map and must take the objective in the center of the map, Defense spawns in the west and must stop them. To do the objective Assault must first prep it then throw a thermite grenade on it. The general strategy for assault is to rush and try and take the objective.
