Match Race

"Beat your opponents down the hill, then take the final challenge!"

Gate Challenge

"Can you get down the mountain without missing a gate?"

Time Trial

"Perfect your skills to get the lowest time, or find the Hidden Coins."

Trick Attack

"Get the high score with your best jumps, grabs, and grinds."

Multiplayer

"Take on your friends in a race of up to 4 Players."

LAN Mode

"Connect up to 4 Nintendo GameCubes for the ultimate race!"
Basically LAN mode allows players to conserve TV space so that they aren't crowded into 4 little sections of the screen; this way players can utilize entire TV's for themselves for a better gameplay experience.

Once the Nintendo GameCube systems are connected each player must press the A Button or Start/Pause to begin. Choose your player and board, then select a course. The game will check any present Memory Cards, and any boards or features that are available on any of the cards will be made available to all players.

2-4 GameCubes

If three or more GameCubes are used, only one player can play on each GameCube; if two are used, then two players can play on each GameCube.

Required Equipment

• 2-4 Nintendo GameCube systems with Broadband Adapters.
• 2-4 (1 per system) 1080° Avalanche Game Discs.
• 0-4 Memory Cards with 1080° Avalanche save data.
• 2-4 (1 per player) Nintendo GameCube Controller
• 1 10BASE-T Hub
• 2-4 LAN cables compatible with the hub to be used. (Standard LAN cables are straight cables, but some hubs use cross cables. For details see the instruction manual of the hub you are using, and use the appropriate LAN cables.)

2 GameCubes

Up to two players can play on a single GameCube.

• 2 1080° Avalanche Game Discs.
• 0-2 Memory Cards with 1080° Avalanche save data.
• 2-4 (1 per player) Nintendo GameCube Controllers
