''The bonus character for this 4th scene is Red Ghost ([[File:BT RedGhost.png]]), which is worth 5 points, and a total of 285 points are required to continue to the final scene.''

Once the diorama has lit up for a fourth time, six Mr. Jows and six Piranhas will make their way towards the ruined temple from the top-left of the screen; once you've fired a shot at all of them to kill them, six more Piranhas (three on both sides of the screen) shall appear near the ruined temple and sunken ship in an ''S''-shaped formation. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them three more Mr. Jows will swim in from the right side of the screen in a ''V''-shaped formation - and once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them, a materialization cloud will appear in the right cavern as the treasure chest opens up and three more Piranhas and a Red Ghost emerge from them. Once you fire a shot at all of them to kill them, the sunken ship will move slightly to the left, as three more materialization clouds appear in the ruined temple and both caverns, and six more Piranhas, three more Mr. Jows, and two more Red Ghosts emerge from them; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them the clam shall open, the sunken ship will move slightly to the left, and three more materialization clouds shall appear in the ruined temple and both caverns, as three more Mr. Jows, two more Piranhas and a fourth Red Ghost emerge from them. Once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them two more materialization clouds shall appear in both caverns as six Tosu and six more Piranhas emerge from them and make their way towards the edge of the screen - and once you fire off a shot at all of them to kill them, the treasure chest and clam will open as six more Mr. Jows and six more Tosu emerge from them. Once you fire a shot at each of them to kill them, two more materialization clouds will appear in the right cavern and ruined temple as six more Mr. Jows and six more Piranhas emerge from them and make their way towards the sunken ship; once you fire a shot at all of them to kill them, a large amount of black bubbles shall combine themselves to form Boss Bubble Ghost (the scene's boss character), and he will simply move around the screen in a spiral. If you manage to defeat him before the timer runs out, not only shall he explode as seven Bubble Ghosts and two more Red Ghosts emerge from him, but you'll also yet again receive a small time bonus, which for the penultimate time varies based on the time you have remaining after defeating him - and if you scored 285 or more points, the text "SCENE 4 CLEAR" shall appear on the screen as the diorama turns off its lights for a fourth time. The scoreboard will then appear as the "ZIP" (or "ZAP") box gets lifted above the "GHOST" one and the text "ZIP/ZAP WON!" appears on the screen; you'll now proceed to the final scene. However, if you only scored less than 285 points, the text "SCENE 4 OVER" will appear on the screen, and the "ZIP" box on the scoreboard will be dropped to the bottom of the screen as the text "GHOSTS WON!" appears on it and the game ends - and in such a case you shall have to insert another coin into the cabinet, then start over from the beginning for as many attempts as it may take you to clear this penultimate scene with a score of 285 or more points.

Once the electro-mechanical diorama has been lit up, six Mr. Jow and six Piranha will make their way to the crumbled house from the top left of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, six more Piranha, three on each side of the screen, will appear nearby the crumbled house and sunken ship respectively and more in an "S" shaped formation; and once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, three more Mr. Jow will fly in from the right side of the screen, again in a "V" shaped formation. Once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, a materialization cloud will appear in the right cavern, and the treasure chest will open up, as three more Piranha and one Red Ghost will appear out of them respectively - and once you have fired shots at each to kill them, the sunken ship will move slightly to the left, and three materialization clouds will appear from the crumbled house and both caverns, as six Pirahna, three Mr. Jow and two Red Ghost appear out of them all respectively. Once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, the clam will open, the sunken ship will move slightly toward the left, and three more materialization clouds will appear of out, again, the crumbled house and both caverns, as three more Mr. Jow, two Piranha and one Red Ghost emerge from them - and once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, two more materialization clouds will form at both caverns, as six Tosu and six Piranha appear from them and make their way toward the edge of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, the treasure chest and clam will open, as six more Mr. Jow and six more Tosu emerge from them respectively - and when you have fired a shot at each to kill them all, two more materialization clouds will appear from the right cavern and crumbled house, as six additional Mr. Jow and six Piranha will emerge from them and make their way towards the sunken ship. Once you have fired a shot at each to kill them, a large amount of black bubbles will combine together to form Boss Bubble Ghost, and he will simply move around the screen in a spiral pattern; and if you manage to defeat him before the timer runs out, not only will he explode and seven Bubble Ghost and two Red Ghost emerge from him, but the player will also receive a time bonus, which varies based on the time remaining on that scene. If you scored 285 or more points, then the text "SCENE 4 CLEAR" will appear on the screen as the electro-mechanical diorama will turn off the lights; the scoreboard will appear, as the "ZIP" box will be lifted over the "GHOST" box, as the text "ZIP WON!" appears on the screen, and the player will move onto the next scene; however, if you scored less than 284 points, than the text "SCENE 4 OVER" will appear instead, and the "ZIP" box on the scoreboard will be dropped to the bottom of the screen, as the text "GHOSTS WON!" appears, and the game will then be over. If you did score 285 or more points though, you will move onto the fifth and final scene as the scoreboard screen will fade out.
