After the cutscene, make a separate save IMMEDIATLY, and do NOT walk on the flowers. You will need it if you don't manage to get the perfect date with Aerith. You will also gain access to new missions. Try to do at least the mission M7-2-1 in order to be able to add objects to materia fusion, M7-2-2 to receive the Keychain (you will be able to equip up to 3 accessories) and finally M7-2-5 to receive the Backpack (you will be able to equip up to 4 accessories). There is a chest in the northwest corner of the church.
