Template:Infobox

In this game, you play as a tamer who works to defend Digital City. Most of the game will be spent traversing various Domains.

Controls

In Domains

  • Triangle button: Cancels any provided order
  • Square button: Allows you to examine an enemy Digimon within the same room as you. This will display their type, species, EL, and how many are there.
If Cross button is pressed when a wild Digimon is being examined it is possible to give them a gift.
  • Circle button: This will give you access to the Menu.
  • Cross button: Allows you to examine what is in front of you, such as Treasure Chests or Mines. This does count as your turn so enemy Digimon will move after searching. This can be helpful to conserve EP by examining nothing a few times to let an aggressive wild Digimon come to you instead of the other way around.

Overview of gameplay

The focus of this game is exploring domains, collecting/raising Digimon, and using them to fight other tamers and wild Digimon.

  • The domains are randomly generated dungeons that contain wild Digimon, items, and a boss battle at the conclusion(only on the first trip through).
  • Wild Digimon that are encountered in domains can be bribed with gifts into joining your team. Their abilities and forms are improved by winning battles like in a standard RPG by collecting experience and advancing in levels(EL). Starting out, all Digimon have low maximum levels. This is solved by combining 2 Digimon to make stronger offspring with a somewhat higher maximum level.
  • Battle in this game is turn based like in a classic RPG. After instructions are given to your team all participating Digimon take turns attacking each other in the order of their speed stat. In battle each side can have up to 3 Digimon.
