Template:Infobox Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors (ドラゴンボールZ 舞空闘劇, Doragon Bōru Zetto Bukū Tôgeki?) is a Dragon Ball game that focuses mostly on the sagas from the original Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series. Various heroes and villains of the series are playable, including Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, Android 18, Cell, Buu, Frieza, and more. Each have their own "what if" stories, which add another take on what could have happened in the anime/manga. The game consists mostly of scenes between characters talking and fighting, whether it be a friendly spar, a training session, or a fight for the planet.

Fights take place on a 2D plane. Supersonic Warriors is unique in that there is a great emphasis on vertical movement. All fighters have the ability to fly and charge ki in order to perform energy blasts, which act as a primary form of offense (as opposed to punching, kicking, and grappling, though these are also in every fighter's move set in the rare case of close combat). This fighting style was utilized in order to better emulate the battles in the series, which tend to take place at high speeds in the air and heavily feature blasts of energy.

Supersonic Warriors was the first Dragon Ball video game developed by Arc System Works, a company that would later become well-known in the fighting game community for Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Arc System Works would go on to return to the Dragon Ball IP over a decade later, with Dragon Ball FighterZ.
