He will lose one life, and any special weapons he may have had, whenever he gets hit by an enemy or anything that is fired at him by one - but if he had won a special weapon from Dream Co., Ltd. earlier and turned it down he will receive it at that point.

Yūichirō's kidnapped fiancée, who appears in the background at the end of the seventh round after Dr. Kubota has been defeated; in the ending sequence, Yūichirō and Sunday let her have the honour of firing a shot at Dr. Kubota's space station to burn it up and transform it into a volcanic explosion cloud. All three of them will then fly into the explosion cloud, which carries them back down to Earth - and she later became the fifth pitcher for the Nikotama Gals in [[Super World Stadium '99]], the last title in Namco's long-running [[:Category:World Stadium|World Stadium series]], which had began earlier in [[1988|this game's year]].

At the end of the round it must be fought as a boss - you should try to destroy the projectile-firing cannons on its front first, then aim for its core. Each of the three projectile-firing cannons on its front are worth 100 points and the core is 5000; once you have fired enough shots at that aforementioned core to destroy it, that "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for the first time as it explodes and sinks beneath the surface of the clouds; it also reappears at the start of the [[Ordyne/Round 6|sixth round]] (but not as a boss this time) and will fly around the screen in an anticlockwise direction while firing projectiles at Yūichirō and Sunday from all around. All of its five roof-mounted projectile-firing cannons can also again be destroyed for 100 points apiece.

Once you have fired enough shots at him, to defeat him (he is worth 5000 points), any fireballs that are on the screen will explode and the "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for the second time as he shrinks and falls back into the lava; by catching him, you will earn a random amount of bonus points that ranges from 1000 to 5000 (it will be shown in red if it was Yūichirō who caught him and green if it was Sunday). He also reappears in the [[Ordyne/Round 6|sixth round]] after Kuchu Yosai has flown away off the left side of the screen, but is coloured blue (instead of orange) and moves much faster than before.

This industrial generator is the boss of the [[Ordyne/Round 3|third round]]; it attacks by moving up and down while spewing fireballs at Yūichirō and Sunday (which are different from those of Fire Tortoise, but can still be blocked by your own shots, for 10 extra points apiece), and its weak points are the balls in its rotary mechanism (which are worth 500 x 8 points). However, if you should take too long over destroying them, it will start moving to the sides as well - so if you are player 1, you should try to avoid these situations by choosing that After shot from Miyuki Chan's Kūchū IN beforehand (if you are player 2, you will have to win it from Dream Co., Ltd., if you want it in this fight) beforehand. The "stage clear" theme will then be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a third time as it sinks below the surface of the ocean; it also reappears upon the [[Ordyne/Round 6|sixth round]], but spews Kame instead of fireballs, which will fly directly at Yūichirō and Sunday once they have reached their altitudes (this is their other purpose). It can also reach to the top of the screen.

Once you've fired enough shots at all nine of those cannons to destroy them (for 500 extra points apiece), you will have to aim for its double-sided core (which is worth 8000 points and can be hit from the front with any type of shot, but can only be hit from behind if you had managed to win the After shot from Dream Co., Ltd. beforehand) - and once you have fired enough shots at that aforementioned double-sided core to destroy it the "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time as it explodes and sinks to the bottom of the ocean. It also reappears on the [[Ordyne/Round 6|sixth round]], but will come up on Yūichirō and Sunday from below and follow a different moving pattern.

Once you have fired enough shots at his top half to defeat him (he is worth 10000 points), the "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fifth time as any amoebas that are currently on the screen explode and leave 100 Crystals behind, and that top half propels itself into the air and explodes releasing hundreds of crystals; you should try to collect as many of them as you can before they all float away. You can also see in that image to the left that you'll have to contend with three Ao Tanks during this battle - so it is advisable for one of you to choose the Stock bomber shot from Miyuki Chan's Kūchū IN here if you had not won it from Dream Co., Ltd. beforehand.

He will attack by firing missiles at them as they are doing this, and once they have all been destroyed, he will start ricocheting around the screen while firing lasers at them from all directions - and once they have fired enough shots at him to defeat him, that "stage clear" theme will be heard from that Yamaha YM-2151 for the sixth and penultimate time as he explodes into twenty pieces of debris (which will not kill Yūichirō and Sunday if they fly into them, and will just fly past them). He is worth 10000 points, and is also the only boss in this game who does not have a theme of his own; as with the reappearances of Fire Tortoise, Power Station, and R-4B at earlier points in the round, Kuchu Yosai's theme is reused.

===Nuts (ナットス)===

These mushroom-shaped hardware fasteners appear on the [[Ordyne/Round 7|seventh round]] and attack by moving either vertically or horizontally while spinning anticlockwise; like the K-Blocks and Nokogiri, they cannot be killed, and must be avoided. They're also the last regular enemy you'll encounter.

===Dr. Kubota (Dr. クボタ)===

The "main" antagonist of the game; he has kidnapped Kana Aihara, so as to get Yūichirō and Sunday out to rescue her. At the end of that [[Ordyne/Round 7|seventh round]], he appears as the game's final boss in a powerful dog-like machine that will first roll into view from the right side of the screen, then spit three Pyonpyon out of its mouth (which can be killed for 500 extra points apiece), then jump up into the air three times before somersaulting back over to the right side of the screen. He will now somersault up to the top of the screen and spit seven homing missiles out of his machine's mouth (which can be destroyed for 50 extra points apiece), then somersault down to the left side of the screen before somersaulting back to the right side of the screen and spitting seven more homing missiles from his machine mouth at you - and he will then spit three more Pyonpyon out of his machine's mouth and somersault over to that left side of the screen, before jumping up into the air four more times and repeating his pattern. Once you have fired off enough shots at the machine cockpit to defeat him (he's worth 30000 points), the "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a final time as it explodes; he will then ascend to heaven as an angel as Kana Aihara appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Both players will then receive 20000 bonus points for every life they have remaining and the amount of Crystals they have remaining will also be added to their scores - and both Yūichirō and Sunday will now fly down to Kana in slow-motion as the screen fades out.
