Field moves are general abilities of most pokémon (not all of them) to help clear an obstacle. Tap an obstacle to see its strength rating. Each object that are affected by a field move and each pokémon that have a field move has a strength rating of 1 to 3. The There are nine different types of field move in the game: burn, soak, flash, cut, crush, gust, recharge, cross and tackle. Each field move does a similar thing but there are some differences. Burn is not special at all. Soak can be used to make plants grow, flash is only used once in the entire game, cut can find secret areas behind shrubs, crush can find secret areas behind walls, level 3 gust can only be found in one playable pokémon, recharge fills up your health meter, using cross usually puts you in front of rare pokémon and tackle has nothing special about it at all. Learn this and you will be fine.
