Head to the right, killing the snail/yak enemies as you go. Eventually you'll reach a wall where a bird will dive at you. It's probably easiest to just jump over it rather than try to time your swing. After this you will come to some stairs with some Sand People. They use their staffs to boost themselves into the air. You shouldn't have much trouble finishing them off. After this come more snail/yak enemies as well as some holes in the ground (you die instantly if you step on them). When you reach the Sandcrawler jump towards the open door to enter it.

In the next portion you're told Obi Wan needs your help, and you then get to do turret combat with TIE Fighters. Hit 
rapidly to fire. Their photon torpedo blasts cause you to lose a life. Use 
to shield their attacks. This will deplete one of the three shield charges visible on your screen. This is somewhat like Duck Hunt in that you have to kill all the TIE Fighters in a wave (there are two to four in a wave) in order to proceed. Once you have done so you will see the Falcon landing on Kessell.
