As soon as you exit from the previous dungeon, the Maku Tree contacts you again. She says that you should go south to the Crescent Island to find the Echoing Howl.

Before the next quest
After coming out of the Wing Dungeon, leave the woods and go back towards Lynna Village. Take a detour: between the forest and the village, jump over the hole with the Roc's Feather and head north. You can find a Soft Soil and a Heart Container.
Follow the path as north as possible. Lift the four stones with your Power Bracelet. Take out your Shovel and dig in the middle spot of the cross to reveal the level 4 Soft Soil. If you want, you can plant your Gasha Seed here.
Go down in on the left side and left. Enter the cave. Use your Roc's Feather and Power Bracelet to get the fifth 
Piece of Heart. Beware: both darker floor tiles may collapse. Take the way on the left side back and out. Continue to Lynna Village.
During Zelda's age, visit the mayor in Lynna Village. His mother has a secret for the mayor in Horon Village. Switch back to Oracle of Seasons and visit the village mayor there. He will give you a Ring Box upgrade. Then, he will tell you another secret. Switch again to Oracle of Ages, go to Farore and tell her Ruul's secret: the Ring Box will be upgraded in this game, too.
If Link owned a single ring L-1 box, the upgrade changes it to a three-rings L-2 box; if he owned a L-2 box already, the upgrade changes it to a five-rings L-3 box.
During Zelda's age, go back to the collapsed entrance of Wing Dungeon in the Faeries Woods. A great faerie is now there, and she will ask you to tell a secret to another faerie behind the fountain inside the Temple of Seasons in Holodrum. Switch back to Oracle of Seasons and explore the Temple. She will give you a ring. Back in Horon Village, Vasu the Jeweler can reveal that it is the Heart Ring L-1. Ask a ring secret to the Red Snake. Switch again to Oracle of Ages, go to the Red Snake there and tell him the ring secret: the Heart Ring L-1 will be added to your collection in this game, too.
Crescent Island
Getting to Crescent Island
Go two screens south, then three screens east, up, east two times and down three times. Fill your Ember Seeds on the way if you need to. Go to the east again and jump over the hole. Follow the path into the northern direction until you arrive at a house. Go in and talk to the man. He will introduce himself as Cheval. Once the talk is over, go out and watch the sequence. Go down, jump over the hole and up until you see the ball playing men. Go left here and use the Harp of Ages. Go into the Time Portal to the Present.
Go south, south, east, north, east, south, east to get to the Yoll Graveyard once more. Burn the Tree. Go east and destroy the three Ghinis. Talk to Moosh then. Go west and north. Use Moosh to get to the end of the path and push the tombstone there. Go into the grave. Walk north, east, south. Use the feather to jump over the water and the power bracelet to pull out the lever as far as possible. Jump back and go up the stairs to the 
Zora's Flippers quickly. You can stand between the stones there to see a funny way to lose a heart. Since you use the Zora's Flippers automatically, you just can jump into the water. Go one screen north and swim on the upper side to the west (you have to go to the right first to get there). Eventually you'll get to stairs and the 
Cheval Rope. Swim back and go back to the entrance.
With the Zoras Flippers you can now visit Syrup Potion Shop in the Yoll Graveyard and buy Gasha Seed and Magic Potion for 300 Rupees each. Go out of the grave. Lift the stone, jump over the hole and go south. Burn the Tree and go west to leave the Yoll Graveyard. Go back to the Lynna City then. Go to the Maku Tree and then one screen east. Use the Harp of Ages and go back to the Past.
Go south, west, south, south, west, south, Go over the bridge, then south to the house. In the house, talk to the boy and give him the Cheval Rope. Go out of the house and north one screen. After the chat, go west two screens and use the shovel on the westernmost point after clearing the stones. You'll find another hidden Soft Soil location. If you want, plant a Gasha Seed. Go back two screens east and return to the north (four screens north, one east, one more north) to the warp. Use the Harp of Ages to go back to the Present.
Here, go to the entrance to the Yoll Graveyard again. Talk to the big kangaroo there. He says that his name is Ricky and that he has lost his boxing gloves, which are hidden inside the grass near the shore, three screens south and two screens west. Dig up 
Ricky's Gloves there and bring it to him, he will thank you and let you ride in his pouch. Use his jumping ability to jump to the top of the mountain structure to the southwest. There, get out of his pouch and jump in front of the man with the balloon while making a sword strike. talk to him after he falls. He will introduce himself as Tingle and ask if you want to be his friend. Accept his request, and you will receive the 
Island Chart.
After getting the chart, go to the past and talk to the boy with the raft. He will tell you it is outside the right door and instruct you on how to use it. Get on it, and head south, east, and north. After a short cutscene, you will land on Crescent Island.
Searching for your items
After reaching Crescent Island, you will find that all of your items have been stolen by the island's inhabitants, the Tokay. in order to continue, you must get all of your items back, as they are necessary to reach the Moonlit Grotto. Without your items, you can't get far. The only thing you can do is to head south to find the Tokay (Rosa in a Linked Game) with your Shovel. While not much, it lets you get past the first obstacles.
Head north to the cave, and dig through the dirt obstructions. In this cave, you will have to approach from the north. This Tokay will give you your Wooden Sword back, allowing you to reach the eastern part of the island. Exit the Cave and go left. Move the Vine Sprout east twice, then go up, right, down and right. Beware the Leevers and Blue Octoroks on the way. The Business Scrub sell the Wooden Shield for 50 Rupees, but ignore it as you can get it from Tokay Traders for 10 Scent Seeds later.
Move the Vine Sprout in the next room below the Ledge. Go south, southeast, north three times. Enter the Hut and trade the Shovel for the Power Bracelet. Walk on the path overlooking the Eastern Beach. Move the Rock with the Power Bracelet, and head down the stairs. The second staircase brings you to the back of the Cucco Hut and get the Bombs back.
Once you retrieve your Bombs, you can use it on the broken Block under the Cucco Hut to get a 
Gasha Seed. head to the area between the Cucco Hut and Trading Hut. One wall on the left may be bombed. This leads to the Wild Tokay Minigame, where you need to throw food at each Tokay on the left and right. Completing the game rewards you with a 
Scent Seedling. This Scent Seedling can be given to the Tokay found at the North of the island (which can be done later.)
Swap the Power Bracelet with the Roc's Feather and go down three times, then west jumping over the holes and go north. To the left of the two-rock barricade is a cave with a blocked entrance. While carrying the Rocs Feather, use a Bomb on this entry to open it. Jump over the patches of water, using Bombs on the cracked blocks, to reach the Tokay with the Zora's Flippers. This allows you to swim in the water again.
Switch to the Power Bracelet and re-enter the same cave. Move the rocks at the north-west corner, and dive into the water. This will eventually lead to the stairs that reach the central plateau, and where you can retrieve your Seed Satchel. The Seed Satchel should have 20 Mystery Seeds (which may be harvested if necessary) that can be used to permanently purchase the Roc's Feather - if not, you can harvest them from a patch of grass.
Obtain both the Roc's Feather (using 10 Mystery Seeds) and Power Bracelet. This lets you move through the south cave (which is one screen down and west from the other cave), and speak with the Tokay carrying your Harp of Ages. As you return to the Cucco Hut, make sure that all three Vine Sprouts are near the associated strange wall and the Scent Sapling is handed over to the Tokay near the place where you landed on the Crescent Island. Now return to the Cucco Hut and warp to the present. Go down and enter the Hut. Trade the Stink Bag for the 
Tasty Meat. With the vines in place, you can reach the Scent Tree. So make your way to it and get 
18 Scent Seeds from it. The Scent Seeds allow you to purchase the Power Bracelet and let you have all necessary items.
Return to the Past and buy the Power Bracelet for 10 Scent Seeds. Exit and reenter and you can buy the Wooden Shield for another 10 Scent Seeds back. With the Roc's Feather, Shovel and Power Bracelet, you have everything you need to reach the Moonlit Grotto. Return to where you retrieved your Harp of Ages, and enter the time portal at the end of the Path to reach the present. Go north to a crossing which have 2 path (north and east). Go east and you will get to a Cave which have a Great Fairy which heal you completely. The north path (which is filled with Sand Crab) leads to the Moonlit Grotto, where you can find the next Essence.
Moonlit Grotto
Dungeon, part 1
Use the Bomb on the broken Block to go west. Use the Harp of Ages to kill the Pols Voice to let a chest appear. Inside it's the 
Dungeon Map. Return east and north. Kill the Mini-Moldorm here to open a door east. In the next room are two Iron Masks which can only be defeated from behind due to the Mask protecting them from front, so ignore them and slay the first Crystal of four.
Go north and enter the rotating plattfirm which bring you on east path. Go east and go around to the Statues. Destroy the Block near it with a Bomb and destroy another Block west with another Bomb over the fence. Go north, west and move the Block south. Throw another Bomb over the fence south. Now move the Block near it north to reach the second Crystal. Destroy it and move the right Block north. Move the Statue right twice, north twice, west and south to let a 
Small Key appear. Take it and go west, south, west and open the north Door with the Small Key.
In the next room north are two Peahats and one Green Zol. Fall down the pit to the basement. Watch out for the Yellow and Blue Tektites along with two Red Zols surrounding you once you land in the basement. Defeat the Enemies here or ignore them and go down. Kill the Mini-Moldorm to open a door south. Go down and play the Harp of Ages to destroy the Pol Voices, which open another door north.
Go north throught the other exit twice and go up the stairs and destroy the third Crystal. Return to the basement and go down one screen and kill the Mini-Moldorm with a Bomb over the fences. Exit the room through the newly opened door down, west. Throw a Bomb over the fence to turn the Switch to red, which awaken an Armos. So kill it with a Bomb (which is easier said than done), but the Reward for killing is the 
Compass. Now take the stairs up to the first floor.
Go left and move the northmost Block north and the 2 other Blocks besides it left and right. Another Small Key will appear. Take it and go right. Jump off the Ledge and go right, up twice, then right to the Wheel Room. Enter the rotating Plattform which bring you on the southern path. Return to the Wheel Room from the west again and this time the Plattform will bring you on the northern path. Go up and watch out for the Like Likes, which like to eat your shield. Go east and step on the button to fight four Armos. Kill them all with Bombs, which may take some time. Take the Small Key after the defeat of all four Armos and go back west. Open up the door with the Small Key.
Kill three Red Zols fast and shield yourself from the Flying Tiles until all Tiles are wasted, then all doors will open so go west, south and northwest. Climb up the stairs and go south to a chest with 
30 Rupees inside. Now go back up and open the door. Go north and west. Kill two Mini-Moldorm and two Arm-Mimics to receive the 
Seed Shooter. Go right and fire a Ember Seed with the Seed Shooter on the torch in the middle of room to open the south door. Go down twice, east, north (you have to return to the Wheel Room again throuth the southern Path).
Use the Seed Shooter to destroy the fourth and last Crystal. Go down and you'll see that the Rotation Plattform has disappeared and now a chest is there. Take the Gasha Seed out of it and go left. Go fall down to the basement again then right. The Rotation Plattform has fall down to this room, so now you can access new rooms. Go down and slay two Iron Masks and move the 3 Block on the southeastern most Part in the Pit and use the Seed Shooter to light up two torch to let another Gasha Seed appear. Take it and go left, up, right and up twice to meet the Mini-Boss Subterror.
Miniboss: Subterror
Equip the Shovel and Sword. When Subterror come at you, then dig him up and slash at him until he dig back under sand. Repeat this a few times and he is defeated, but beware the more you hit him the faster he will become.
Dungeon, part 2
Go left and up. Kill two Mini-Moldorm and then move the out of place Block to align with the three Blocks in room to let a Small Key appear. Take it and return to the Wheel Room. Go left, up and slash the Crystal Ball. Use the Seed Shooter to hit the Switch to let a bridge appear. Hit the Switch again after slashing the Crystal Ball few to align the Barrier to make way to a chest with 20 Rupees inside. Open the door and go north.
Hit the Crystal Ball once with Seed Shooter and hit the Switch. Go over the bridge and hit the Switch again. Go up and move the sole Block away. Return to the Wheel Room and take the east path. Step on the button once then off stay on the button and shot the Switch diagonally with the Seed Shooter. Go up and take the 
Boss Key from the Chest. Jump of the Ledge and go left, up, left, up and open the Boss Door to meet Shadow Hag.
Boss: Shadow Hag
Equip the Seed Shooter and Sword. The Boss will split up in four shadows which you must avoid. After a while the shadows will merge, but you can't attack while facing her, so you need to turn back on her as she spew some Moths and shot the Seed Shooter at the wall which bounce off and hit the Shadow Hag behind you. She will after a while then split up again in four shadows. Repeat it a few times (perhaps you need figure out the timing to how to shoot her from behind) and she will be history. Collect the 
Heart Container and go left. Take the 
Echoing Howl.
"It echoes far across the plains to speak to insolent hearts."
Upon the exit of the Dungeon you see how Ambi talk with Veran about the Black Tower which will soon be complete. The Maku Tree mention a Essence of Time northwest of Lynna City. So the next destination is the Skull Dungeon.
