Rosace Hill

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 250 Geil
Items:

  • Hint-1 - V22, H22 (hidden)

The first battle of the game is obviously very simple and perfect for getting familiar with the game system. There are only three enemies to defeat, namely three Gigaslugs. You will have the hero, Yuri and Clive, all with the same weapon. The terrain is practically all flat and there are no particular obstacles. One of your attacks will be almost enough to defeat one of the enemies, while they cause minimal damage. You should win this battle in a heartbeat. There is also an item to collect, but it is hidden in the ground. To be able to get it you will have to come back here later, when you have the Searchmark skill.

Mastha Canyon

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 500 G
Items:

  • Hint-2 - V20, H10 (chest)
  • Mallet - V1, H0 (chest)

Another very easy battle. Before entering it, you have the opportunity to start shopping and to upgrade and customize your equipment. You can also sell your previous weapons, which you will no longer need. To find all the hidden items in the game, it is advisable to immediately purchase the two daggers Bowie and Antennae and assign them to one of the characters, in order to learn the skills Unlock and Searchmark, to open the chests, and to find the items hidden in the ground, respectively. For the rest you can choose the equipment you prefer, given the great ease of the fight. You have the terrain strongly to your advantage in this battle. In addition to Yuri and Clive you will control also Rosaly. She is equipped with a bow that allows her to hit enemies at great distances and cause massive damage (you can't change her equipment). There are only four enemies, all of which are very easy to defeat. The only attack that can cause you some damage is the Darkbird's B.Flare, which it can only use once anyway. To learn the skills of your new weapons faster, remember to always attack, even if there are no enemies nearby. You will thus earn the same skill points. If instead you just wait, you won't earn anything. This is a technique that you will have to use constantly throughout the game. If you manage to learn the Unlock skill, you can also open the two chests there. Unfortunately, they are far from your initial position and it takes time to reach them. It may be necessary to keep an enemy alive and try to lure him towards one of your characters (by moving him before the enemy attacks him), in order to prolong the fight until your character with the Unlock ability reaches the chests. This is also a strategy that you will have to use several times throughout the game. Unfortunately, you still can't buy a Wing Armor to get to the chests more easily.

Yuta Plain West

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 800 G
Items:

  • Hint-3 - V0, H11 (hidden)
  • Boots - V15, H9 (hidden)
  • B-light - V15, H23 (chest)

There isn't much to say about this battle and it doesn't present any real difficulty. There are only four enemies, all of a type you've encountered before, and the terrain presents no particular pitfalls or obstacles. You should win the fight without any problems. In this battlefield you can find three items, but in order to get the Boots you must be equipped with a Wing Armor, because they are inside a stream. To get them you will therefore have to return here later, when it will be possible to buy this type of armor.
