Workers' Area[edit]

Treasure to find
  • Life Shard (x2)
  • Gas Shells
  • Wisdom Fruit
  • Hourglass
  • 800 zenny
  • Napalm
  • 400 zenny

As soon as you get off the elevator, you will find that the main entrance of Myria Station is locked and that you will have to use the workers' entrance. Proceed to the right and go down the stairs. Enemies in this area are not particularly dangerous, but it is advisable to equip yourself with an accessory that protects you from sleep status, to counter the boring Sleep attack of the Nitemares. Go to the right, past the elevator and then north, out the door. Outside you will find a bag with a Life Shard hidden in the left corner. Go back inside and this time take the path south. You will find a door that opens onto a small terrace, on which you will find Gas Shells. Go back inside and go up the stairs to the left of the elevator. Use the switch to turn on the lift. Go back downstairs and examine the elevator panel. Select "Arrival Platform" as your destination and get on the elevator. Take the Wisdom Fruit you will find. Then select Maintenance Deck as the destination. Follow the path and get on the elevator at the opposite end. Go through the next room and you will come to a corridor. Go right. On the way you will come across a closed door, which can only be opened with Key Card A. Go up the stairs and you will come to a room with two control panels. Use them to unlock the main entrance and access to the laboratories. Go back downstairs and follow the corridor to the left. You will find another door, which can only be opened with Key Card B, so ignore it for now. Enter the next door and in the lockers you can find an Hourglass, 800 zenny and a Napalm. In the next room you can rest and save the game thanks to a diary, as well as being able to carry out the usual camp operations. This room will be your base camp for a while. Then go back to the corridor and go up the stairs. In the next room you can find 400 zenny in the closet.

You will then arrive in the main room of Myria Station, from which several paths start. First of all, to the southeast is the main entrance, which you have just unlocked. You can use it to return to the big elevator and the World Map - do it if you need it. The orange path leads to the entrance to the laboratory, which is your next destination. The green path instead leads to Eden, but for now you will not be able to access it. If you go in that direction, you will be stopped shortly after by a strange plant. In the left corner of the room there is also another door, which can only be opened with Key Card A. Also remember to take a Life Shard from the closets to the east. When you are ready, follow the orange path to enter the laboratory.

The Laboratory[edit]

Treasure to find
  • 10000z
  • Holy Robe
  • Swallow Eye
  • Ammonia
  • Skill Ink
  • Ivory Dice
  • Slicer
  • HE Shells
  • Giant Shield
  • Dragon Shield,
  • Dragon Helm
  • Demonsbane

For this mission you should take Rei with you. In this area you will find two particularly insidious enemies. These are the Ice Drake and Red Drake. Their Fire Breath and Ice Breath can do a lot of damage. Since the strength of these attacks is tied to their HP value, try to damage them quickly. After entering the laboratory door, get on the conveyor belt. Then go to the hidden chest to the southeast to find 10,000 zenny. The next room is filled with a healing gas, which will completely restore your energies. Proceed and enter the north door to find a Holy Robe in the chest. Then take the door on the left. Ignore the stairs that go down and follow the path to the left, entering the door at the end. In this room, you will see a huge monster sleeping behind a glass window, in a room full of gas. As you can easily guess, it is the next boss you will have to face, but not for now. You will also notice a key card on the floor in front of the monster. Use the control panel to stop the sleeping gas (the monster will continue to sleep) and retrieve the Swallow Eye from the closet. Go back into the corridor and enter the first door you will encounter. Take an Ammonia from the closet, then examine the two control panels. You will need to use them to align the + and the - on the grid you see in front of you. There is also another panel in the room on the right. The goal is to create a path on the grid free from electrical discharges, matching the + and the -. When you are done, enter the room on the right to adjust the other panel as well, then proceed through the north window. If you have managed to create a path without electricity you will be able to cross the grid without taking damage, otherwise you will necessarily take some damage and some status alterations (but nothing too serious). Go downstairs using the square platform. Proceed southeast to the end of the path and then southwest. You will arrive in a room where you will find a Skill Ink. Go back and take the first path on the left, entering the door. Go through the rooms and enter the next door. Ignore the door and follow the path to the end to find a hidden Ivory Dice. Go back and enter the door. Go upstairs using the platform and grab a Slicer from the chest. Then go through the door to enter the room where the monster is. As soon as you try to take the key card, the monster will wake up and you will be forced to fight.

Boss Fight - Chimera[edit]

HP: 7500

This boss isn't too hard to defeat, but it does have some treacherous attacks. Paralyzer can paralyze one of your character indefinitely, if it happens quickly use a panacea on the victim. Inferno and Blizzard can cause decent damage to the whole group, so equip yourself with accessories that protect you from fire and ice, to minimize the effects. It is also advisable to cast Shield on the group once or twice at the beginning. If Ryu has many AP, the best way to defeat the Chimera is to use Utlimate Kaiser, transforming Ryu with Infinity, Trance and Radiance genes. Then attack the boss with normal physical attacks and with Shadowwalk, to eliminate it in a short time. For this battle it is inadvisable to use Rei's Weretiger, as in this form he would not be able to use a panacea on paralyzed characters. It is therefore better to reserve Rei for healing, while the third character will have to deliver the best shots of him. If Ryu doesn't have many APs, you can also use the Force and Gross genes, bearing in mind that in this case the fight will be a little longer.

After defeating the Chimera, you will be able to retrieve the Key Card B. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem very important and that's the truth. But fear not: the real goal of this mission is another. Go down the platform where the Boss was standing. In the room below you will find a chest with HE Shells. With these, Momo will be able to destroy the plant that blocks access to Eden. In the southwest room you will find some chests behind a closed door. Use Rei to pick the lock and you can find a Giant Shield, a Dragon Shield, and a Dragon Helm. Then go all the way back, until you exit the laboratory. You can go to rest and save your game in the room in the workers’ area. With the Key Card B you just obtained you can then open the next door. You will find a chest with a Demonsbane. You will also notice many Honey-like creatures. You will discover that Honey is a Navigator, a creature designed to guide the Myria Station. Your next destination is Eden, but you will probably want to return to the World Map first to stock up on supplies or to visit the Masters.

Eden[edit]

Treasure to find
  • Protein
  • Magic Shard
  • Ginseng
  • Wisdom Fruit
  • Silver Tiara
  • Dragon Spear
  • Force Armor
  • Soul Gem

For this mission you should take Momo and Rei with you, if you don't want to go back and forth several times. When you are ready, go back to the main room of the Myria Station and go through the door at the end of the green path. Go up the escalator and enter a healing room similar to the one you went through previously. In the next room, equip Momo with the HE Shells and use her bazooka to destroy the plant blocking the door. Go in. You will find yourself in what looks like a huge abandoned greenhouse. In this area you can find Goo Kings. If you manage to defeat them (you will have to steal a Green Apple from them first or they will escape immediately) you could get the Goo King Sword, the most powerful sword in the game. Go straight to find a chest with a Protein. Go back and proceed north-east. Go up the hill to the north and go down the other side, collecting a Magic Shard from the chest. Climb the next mound and proceed south to return to the paved path. Follow it until you come to a closed door. Have Rei pick the lock and enter. In this room you will need to be careful not to step on the thorns protruding from the tub. In the cupboards you will find a Ginseng and a Wisdom Fruit, then go out the opposite door. Proceed to the left, picking up the Silver Tiara behind a tree. In the left corner you will find another door: enter and take a Dragon Spear from the chest. Then go up the stairs on the right and proceed to the right. Enter the door and walk down the corridor until you reach an elevator. Use the elevator to finally reach the garden of Eden.

Despite the enchanting appearance of the room, even in this area there are random battles. Before approaching the stream to the northwest, go south of the elevator to find a Force Armor in a chest, while to the north you will find a Soul Gem. When you are done, cross the bridge over the stream and on the other side you will meet a purple-haired man that you have already met a couple of times in Ryu's dreams and that you can now see better. Couldn't he be…? Yes, it's Teepo, your childhood friend. Teepo will not seem at all surprised to see you arrive. Teepo will tell you that after being defeated by Balio and Sunder, he discovered that he too was a Brood. Teepo will also claim that the Broods are a threat to the world and that they bring death and destruction wherever they go. He has in fact chosen to live isolated from the rest of the world with the goddess Myria, the only one who can take care of them and expects Ryu to do the same. As Ryu refuses, Teepo will send him into a deep sleep, in which he will be able to look into himself and into the thoughts of his friends.

Ryu's Dream[edit]

Treasure to find
  • Shaman's Ring
  • Hourglass
  • Gems

This part of the game is very annoying, because you will have to face the random battles only with Ryu. If you have obtained the Life Armor before, it will be of great use here. Proceed northwest first, following the pools of light. You will meet a shadow of Nina, who will speak. In this dream you will in fact meet the shadows of all the members of your group, who will speak in a selfish and not very credible way, as if they didn't care about Ryu. When Nina vanishes, go ahead and talk to the dragon statue, which will tell you to go back. Do it and shortly after you will meet Rei's shadow. After listening to it, examine the new dragon statue to restore your energy and save the game. Proceed northwest, where you will find another dragon statue, with two panels on the sides. Examine the one on the left to make a pool of light appear in that direction. When you try to get the chest though, you will fall through the floor. You will find yourself near another dragon statue, which will ask you if you want what's in the chest. Answer yes and go to the nearby chest to find a Shaman's Ring. Then go northeast and use the updraft to return to the statue where you can save your game. Go back to the previous area and this time analyze the panel on the right, to bring up another pool of light. Again though, if you try to take the chest, you'll fall downstairs. After returning to this area again, talk to the dragon statue between the two panels, who will tell you to pray. Remain motionless in front of the statue for several seconds and eventually the dragon will allow you to proceed. Here you will meet the shadow of Momo. You can then move left and right to open the chests you saw earlier; you will get Gems and an Hourglass. Proceeding northwest you will enter a new area but if you want, you can first face other random battles to increase your level, as you can save the game and restore your energy whenever you want. Once you reach the new area, however, you will not be able to go back.

The next area is a labyrinth with many colored portals on the floor, which will transport you from one point to another. There are no items to collect here. Go left at the first intersection, then right and then left again. Use the yellow portal at the end. Proceed northeast to meet Garr's shadow. Then use the purple portal on the left. Proceed to the right and then turn left. Use the green portal and you will meet the shadow of Peco, who will finally speak in an understandable way. Follow the path and use the blue portal at the end. You will now encounter a copy of yourself. But Ryu won't fall for the trap. Proceed to meet Teepo again, who will ask you to give up your power. Since Ryu refuses, Teepo will leave him a prisoner in his dream, to fight against the Arwan.

Sub-Boss Fight - Arwan[edit]

HP: 2400

The Arwan is more of a sub-boss than a real boss, a simple training compared to what awaits you later. He will attack you with some frost element attacks like Blizzard and Chill, which, if you equip yourself with the Ring of Ice, you can use to your advantage. It will then use his physical attacks, which do moderate damage and Sleep. The best strategy to defeat him is to exploit his weakness to the holy element. So use weapons and skills of this element. Alternatively, you can use Shadowwalk or transform into a dragon with just the Force gene, attacking the Arwan with simple physical attacks. Given the relative ease of this fight, it is not recommended to use the Ultimate Kaiser form, because you should get out of this fight with as many AP as possible. Immediately after, in fact, you will have to face a much more powerful opponent, with no chance of restoring your energy between the two battles.

Teepo[edit]

Treasure to find
  • Light Bangle

After defeating the Arwan you will wake up again in the garden of Eden. Teepo will be surprised to see you return. He will explain that if the Arwan had defeated you, you would not be dead, but you would simply lose your power. But since you insist on not giving up your Brood power, he will tell you that he has no choice but to kill you. Select three party members and their formation to face the Dragon Lord.

Boss Fight - Dragon Lord[edit]

HP: 12500

From the HP value of this boss, it becomes clear that this is going to be a long battle. However, if you equip yourself with the right accessories and use a good strategy, the fight will be easier than expected. The Dragon Lord has a very powerful physical attack, so it's best to cast Shield on the party at the beginning. In addition, he is able to cast powerful spells like Inferno, Blizzard and Myollnir, so equip yourself with protection from fire, frost and thunder (if you have the corresponding rings they are fine). Another attack of his that will give you problems is Howling, which confuses the party members, so it is advisable to equip them with Balance Rings. The best way to win this fight is definitely to use Ryu's Ultimate Kaiser form, even if its AP cost is very high. In this form Ryu is in fact able to cause enormous damage to the boss, especially if you use skills such as Shadowwalk, Focus and Aura. It is advisable also yo include Rei in the group, to steal the Dragon Blade from the Dragon Lord and then use his Weretiger. The third member of the party will have to deal with the healing and support spells. Momo is ok, but you can also use a character with a high HP value like Garr or Peco. If Ryu's AP start running low, you can also sacrifice a Wisdom Fruit. If you follow this strategy and your level is close to 40, you shouldn't have too much trouble winning the fight.

After defeating him, Teepo will die. With his last words, he will express his nostalgia for the time when you were children. He will transform into a Whelp dragon and eventually vanish, all that will remain of him will be a Key Card A: collect it. This seems very important. Then take the elevator and go all the way back to return to the main room of Myria Station. Go to the workers area to rest and save your game, then use the Key Card A you got to open the door nearby and retrieve a Light Bangle. You might as well proceed to the final mission at this point, but it's best to prepare properly first. Exit the Myria Station to stock up on supplies, fish, visit the masters, complete side missions and do whatever else you feel is necessary. Next destination Myria.
