Earth Warp challenge 8A.png

At the beginning of this challenge, the text "Now his communicator is mended, Ollie calls home to the planet Gia. His sister Ellie answers. She says she will collect a mark three flidget and leave for Earth straight away. 'There is just one small problem' says Ellie, 'I don't know the way!'" is displayed on the screen; once you have pressed Space to continue, the text "Earth is one of the planets of the Solar System. Your first task is to help Ollie guide Ellie from Gia to the Solar System." will appear on the screen. Once you have pressed Space to continue again, Ellie's spaceship (which is at Gia), along with four other randomly-generated fictitious planets and the Solar System will appear on the screen, with an angle selector and the text "Ellie is at Gia. First she must get to (first fictitious planet). Use SPACE to choose an angle, then press RETURN. Angle selected: " beneath it - and the first fictitious planet, which shall flash cyan and blue before its name appears, is either Dune (as seen in the above image), Blimp, or Flug. Once you've chosen the right angle, Ellie's spaceship will fly to the first planet and the text "Well done! You have reached (first fictitious planet)." will appear at the bottom of the screen; once you have pressed Space to continue for a third time, the second fictitious planet (which is either Thor, Flox or Duff) will flash cyan and blue before its name appears and the text "Ellie is at (first fictitious planet). Now guide her to (second fictitious planet). Use SPACE to choose an angle, then press RETURN. Angle selected: " shall appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have selected the right angle again Ellie's spaceship shall fly to the second planet and the text "Well done! You have reached (second fictitious planet)." will appear at the bottom of the screen - and once you've pressed Space to continue yet again, the third fictitious planet (which is either Rex, Snop or Dop) shall flash cyan and blue before its name appears and that text "Ellie is at (second fictitious planet). Now guide her to (third fictitious planet). Use SPACE to choose an angle, then press RETURN. Angle selected: " shall appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have chosen the right angle for a third time, Ellie's spaceship will fly to the third planet, and the text "Well done! You have reached (third fictitious planet)." will appear at the bottom of the screen; after you have pushed Space to continue for a fifth time, the final fictitious planet (which is either Zip, Jud or Stom) will flash cyan and blue before its name appears and the text "Ellie is at (third fictitious planet). Now guide her to (final fictitious planet). Use SPACE to choose an angle, then press RETURN. Angle selected: " shall appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have chosen the right angle for a fourth time, the text "Well done! You have reached (last fictitious planet)." will appear at the bottom of the screen - and once you push Space to continue for a sixth time, the Solar System will flash cyan and blue and the text "Ellie is at (last fictitious planet). She must get to the Solar System. Use SPACE to choose an angle, then press RETURN. Angle selected: " shall appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have selected the right angle for a fifth time, Ellie's spaceship will fly to the Solar System, and the text "Well done! You have guided Ellie to the edge of the Solar System!" will appear at the bottom of the screen; once you have pressed Space to continue for a seventh time, the game shall proceed to its ninth challenge (which is similar to the fourth one of Sky Hunter, but with planets as opposed to the parts of a bird).

Alternate planet generations[edit]

In the generation of planets seen in the screenshot at the top of this page, the planets are Dune, Thor, Rex and Zip, and the right angles to get to them and the Solar System are 150°, 60°, 90°, 210°, and 90° respectively; however, there are two other generations of them, and the names of the planets in them are listed in the table below along with the right angles to get to them and the Solar System (if you ever pick a wrong angle, Ellie's spaceship shall flash and disappear once it reaches one of the screen's edges, and the text "Oh no! Now Ellie is lost. She will have to return to Gia and start again!" will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, so you shall have to push Space to reverse time back to when Ellie's spaceship was at Gia in such a case):
