Outside the city[edit]
- 1 screen = 1 mile (in fact, a sign 2 screens south of Grail reads that the city is 2 miles away).
First of all, locate the walled city of Grail on the screenshot map above: this is where the party starts the adventure. Enemies east of Grail are weak, and this area is where the party should adventure first (this is also the mapped portion of the overworld included in the game documentation). Enemies west of Grail are significantly stronger.
The temple[edit]
The temple is located south-east of the city. Travel one mile south and two miles east (you can approach the temple from any direction except from the north).
