Head North through the door. To the West (which can be skipped) are stairs leading to a room with spikes on the floor and two treasure chests containing medicinal herbs. Head through the door to find a large spike ball travels clockwise, avoid this and fight the waves of enemies and destroy the mimic. A switch will drop from the ceiling. Activate the switch then head out the door and through the south door. The silver box is now gone and there are stairs, head down. Destroy the slime and a jar will drop from the ceiling, time this right to use it to jump to the switch and activate it.
Work your way back North through the door and head West into the new area. Push the blocks to continue on, skip the door and push the third block to the West and continue through the second door to the North. This room holds a glowing save point and two chests containing medicinal herbs. The blocks will reset after a short period of time.
Hit each block to create a bridge, then switch to the bow to shoot the switches on the walls. This will cause the back wall in the middle of the room to open. If you fall in the hole on the left there is a treasure chest with a medicinal herb. If you fall on the hole on the right, destroy the enemies to access the teleporter. Knock one of the blocks in again and jump access to head North. The wall will close and use the charged sword attack to one hit the enemies opening the door again.
Continue North and the wall will again shut leaving you in a room with eight purple switches. Using the bow, hit the first glowing switch. The glowing switches are timed and will alternate opposite sides of the room until all are activated revealing a teleporter.
BEFORE MOVING the stones near the teleport pad are faces with eyes. If they see you the walls on both sides of the room will slam shut. Head through the North door, avoid the rolling boulders and enter the door at the top of the stairs. Here you will find four purple switches. Again, using the bow shoot the switches starting with top left, then bottom right, then bottom left, and finally top right.
THIS IS TIMED, A jar will fall from the ceiling allowing access to grab the ice cube and the silver boxes will rise to the ceiling. Now grab the ice cube and run to the West side of the room. Place the ice cube on the pedestal to open the floor.
(OPTIONAL) Fall two floors to defeat the enemies and open two treasures chest containing medicinal herbs, hit the switch and use teleport pad and repeat last step.
Otherwise, hold the direction button to the left during the fall to grab ice cube and jump over to the treasure chest containing a gilded falcon.
Use the treasure chest to make the leap over the hole. REMEMBER THE FACE STONES, will close the walls so walk around them and move East to the next pedestal with the ice cube. Fall through hole in the floor and defeat the enemy waves, dropping another ice cube from ceiling for the next pedestal. While falling hold direction up to enter a door, If missed will have to use moving platform to use far East door which takes you back to the glowing save point. Defeat enemies and leave, jump down to the West and use bomb to open a door. This room has a treasure chest containing wonder essence, leave room. Head to the last door West and enter to open a treasure chest containing a life vessel. Now use the door to the right and solve the sixteen switch puzzle. Starting from the top numbering them left to right and working down, the order to press switches is: 3, 14, 5, 12.
The door will open and head North through the door. Eliminate the mudmen and use the door in the West corner. Head North in the room and use the stairs behind the platform with the switch, jump across and hit the next two switches as they appear to open the door in the wall. Wait for the spike platforms to rise and make the first jump, fall into the hole to gain access to the ice cube below. Grab the cube and eliminate the mudmen to open the door, head back to the teleport room. Use the other teleport pad in the room near ice cube pedestal, eliminate the mudmen and open treasure chest containing 30 gilder. Use teleport pad to get out of room. Now use the ice cube on the pedestal to open the hole in the floor.
Avoid the fireballs and defeat the mudmen to open the door on the West side of the room. Inside is a medicinal herb and some jars. Leave the room and defeat the enemies to open the last door. Defeat the six Demons and head North through the door. Continue heading North to find Giles slumped on the floor and prepare to fight the Soul Leech.
