Once learned, the mode must be equipped to increase the Overdrive Gauge. Only one can be used at a time.

Dancer | Gauge increases when attacks are evaded | 16% |
Daredevil | Gauge increases when character has a turn while HP is critical | 16% |

Hero | Gauge increases when character defeats an enemy with high HP | 20% |
