Template:Infobox Template:Series disambig Ancient Land of Ys (also known as Ys, Ys: Book I, Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished, and Ys I ~Complete~) is a RPG originally published for the PC-8801 personal computer in 1989. It was later ported to the Famicom and NES, and published for the Sega Master System in Japan as Ancient Ys Vanished Omen or Ys: The Vanished Omens (English translations).
The game features traditional 2D RPG-style graphics and control.
Story
Land of Esteria has been overrun with forces of evil. A red haired adventurer washes to the shores, only to discover his destiny; collect all volumes of books of Ys, and defeat Dark Fact.
