Finding Bostro[edit]
Move out of the observatory and talk to Silky for Puzzle 059, which will net you the 
Silky's Coffee errand. Head west and south, then talk to Ernest for Puzzle 042. Move north to Flatstone Street until you reach the casino. After hearing a conversation between Bostro and a grunt, your parrot will start mimicking Bostro.
Move south and east to enter the road to Chinatown. Head north, then talk to Layman for Puzzle 060. Move north and talk to Hardy for Puzzle 061, which will net you the 
boy sticker. Move north and east twice to the shady grove, where you will encounter Pavel, triggering Puzzle 062, which will net you the 
Desert Trek course. Move to the gate of Chinatown, then talk to the two grunts standing guard to get them to abandon guard duty. Check the door. It requires you to have solved 50 puzzles to be opened, which you should have by now. Get ready to enter Chinatown!
The streets of Chinatown[edit]
Talk to Rudolph for Puzzle 063, which will make him tell us that the Towering Pagoda in the distance is the Family headquarters. Talk to Misha for Puzzle 064. Move north, then talk to Dylan for Puzzle 065. Talk to Viv for Puzzle 066, which will net you the A Friend for Viv errand. Check the rightmost doorway to enter a noodle shop. Talk to Pepper for Puzzle 067. Exit the shop, then enter the store next to it. Talk to Checker for Puzzle 068, which will net you the Cold Grab course. Check the pile of toys for Puzzle 069.
Walk north and check the roof of the gate for Puzzle 070. Talk to Ward, who will say that the future Layton is currently out and about. Move to the left and talk to Slate for Puzzle 071. Slate will get the idea to paint a mural on the wall to stop vandals from painting graffiti all over it. Move right and left several times to see the progress on the mural. On your third revisit, talk to him for Puzzle 072. On your fifth revisit, talk to him for Puzzle 073, which will net you the 
young master sticker. One more visit and the mural will be completed!
Finding Layton[edit]
Now we need to ask the locals on the whereabouts of Layton's future self. Move south and talk to Dylan, who will mention that future Layton is rumored to disguise himself and patrol the streets. Talk to Pepper in the noodle shop, who will say that future Layton probably wouldn't go there. Enter the street to the right and check the banana peel on the floor for Puzzle 074. Check the tree to the left repeatedly for Puzzle 148.
Enter the bookshop to witness a man leave the place in a hurry, again with wet shoes. Talk to Maya, who will say that he is called Dr. Avogadro, and that he often take short breaks from work to get a few books from her store. Move out and talk to Avogadro, then head north. Talk to Paige for Puzzle 075, which will net you a 
master sticker and the Scatterbrained Paige errand. Talk to Hazel, who will once again leave out of fear.
Enter the house on the top right. It appears very similar to Granny Riddleton's shack from previous games, but don't we already have Beasly to take care of our missed puzzles? Talk to Beasly, who will try to tell us his backstory before getting swiped away by a young girl. It turns out that she is the granddaughter of Granny Riddleton, Puzzlette, and that she will be taking over Beasly's job from now on. Talk to Puzzlette again, then exit the shack.
Check the other doorway to enter a pet shop. Talk to Myrtle, who will introduce you to the pet shop. With no more puzzles here and having talked to every one in town, move back to Chinatown Plaza and talk to Rudolph. He says he'll give us a hint on future Layton's whereabouts, but we must first send a message to his wife, Myrtle. Move back to the pet shop and talk to Myrtle, then return to the plaza and talk to Rudolph. He'll say that future Layton often goes for strolls along the Thames river. He'll also hand you a flyer to a restaurant by the river, called the Thames Arms.
