Story[edit | edit source]

The single player game takes place after the Clone Wars at the end of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. The Galactic Empire has overthrown the Old Republic and the Jedi Knights are all but destroyed, with only a handful escaping Imperial forces and disappearing into hiding across the galaxy.

The player is Starkiller, a powerful Force user taken as a child to be Darth Vader's secret apprentice. Using only the Force and lightsabers, Starkiller is sent by Vader to hunt down and kill Jedi survivors throughout the galaxy while keeping his existence a secret, in preparation for the assassination of the Emperor himself so that the duo can then rule the galaxy together. Starkiller's ship is the Rogue Shadow, where he is accompanied by the Imperial pilot Juno Eclipse and the training droid PROXY (programmed to try and kill him).
