This chapter takes place from the perspective of Julia in the Theatrical Cut and Brad in the Curator's Cut. If Alex successfully proposed to Julia in Dive, the chapter will begin with Julia telling Brad about their experience. If Julia found the anti-aircraft shell in Dive, she will tell Brad that he can take a look at it below deck.
Julia[edit]
If Alex proposed successfully, choose to be cheerful, sentimental, reassuring, and adoring with Alex in order to improve their relationship. If Alex didn't propose, choose to reassure him, and if Julia rejected his proposal, choose to be apologetic. Go below deck to find Brad, and shortly afterward find Conrad and Fliss. If they are together, Julia has the chance to be stern or play a prank on them, which Fliss doesn't appreciate, or say nothing. After the scene, Alex sends Julia to get the navigator's pad. While she can examine the camera to find the photo of the co-pilot badge, only Brad's history knowledge will allow it to count as a collectible; play Curator's Cut or Shared Story to unlock it.
Head to the back of the hall below deck to find the navigator's pad in Julia's luggage. If she takes too long, Alex will follow her below deck. Once they regroup with the others, Julia will share what the pair found underwater in Dive (dependent on how many Secrets she found in that chapter). Julia can then be apologetic after Fliss scolds them. If Julia resurfaced before Alex gave her the okay in Dive, Alex will instruct her not to take the beer from Conrad; follow his advice to avoid her demise. After Alex convinces Brad to tell a ghost story, choose to be supportive. Julia can then react to the story as he tells it or listen quietly by choosing to say nothing. After he finishes telling it, show appreciation to improve her relationship with Brad. This concludes the chapter, with the next taking place from the perspective of Conrad.
Brad[edit]
If Alex chose to take the camera underwater in Wreck, Brad should be able to examine the camera, which he can click through until he finds a photo that interests him. This is Secret #20: Co-Pilot Badge. Below deck, approach the hall to find Conrad and Fliss. If Conrad flirted successfully with Fliss in the previous chapter, Brad will find them together. If Brad finds them before Julia can finish her conversation with Alex, Brad will have the chance to respond. Choose to be polite rather than play a prank to avoid angering Fliss. The conversation that follows depends on the events of Dive, as Brad can congratulate Alex if he proposed successfully or show sympathy for him if he was turned down.
When Alex pushes Brad to tell a ghost story, choose to be confident or apprehensive to affect his traits. He can then make choices that affect how the others react to his story. This concludes the chapter, with the next following Alex.
