This chapter's player character is Fliss in both Theatrical and Curator's Cuts. In Shared Story, one player will be doing this chapter while the other does Dive. When Conrad offers Fliss a beer, make the relaxed choice in order to improve their relationship. She can then be subdued or self-assured when he asks about her past business; if the former choice is selected, Conrad will offer an investment, to which Fliss should be appreciative. After the conversation, there are a few items that Fliss can interact with on the deck:

  • The monitor near the captain's seat, which provides a weather update.
  • The fake license on the counter, which Fliss will put away.
  • The dive cam photos, which Fliss can scroll through.
  • The radio next to the dive cam photos, which Fliss can use to attempt to reach Alex and Julia.

Conrad successfully flirted with Fliss

When speaking to Conrad, choose to be relaxed, playful, and romantic. Conrad's successful flirting will unlock an achievement/trophy. Below deck, open a door to the left of the hall that was inaccessible to Alex/Conrad in Wreck. Inside is a Picture, Cut and Run, this time acting as a warning rather than showing a positive outcome. To the right of the hall, Fliss can speak to Brad. Choose to be sympathetic to improve their relationship, and then probing to learn more about him. Lastly, Fliss can open a drawer to the left, which was also inaccessible to the guys. While this isn't a collectible, it gives some insight into Fliss' character.

Return to the deck and use the binoculars at the back of the boat. This triggers a scene, after which Fliss will have more choices; choose to show worry rather than boss Conrad around. Make the worried choice after the uninvited guests arrive, though either choice will have Conrad take the matter into his own hands regardless. This concludes the chapter, leading into Dive in the Theatrical Cut or Ghost Story in the Curator's Cut.
