First and foremost ''stand'' and then ''exit''. After another cutscene, in which Arnoid is after you, go North, then go two screens left, and walk towards the monster that appears to be walking in the background. If you see a scorpion (the game will warn you with a message), backtrack one screen, and go back, they don't stick around for long. Walk into World O' Wonders to meet Fester Blatz. Since you're at a shortage for money, ''sell gem''. Fester will offer you as high as 425 buckazoids (say no to 350 and 400), but if you accidentally say "no" to 425, he will quickly withdraw his offer, and you won't get any points for the transaction. [8] Time to do some shopping: ''buy orat'' ([5]), ''buy hat'' ([5]), and ''buy underwear'' ([5]). [15] Apart from that, there's little to do here, so ''exit''.

Outside, you will run into a good old Android, who demonstrates his physical strength and explains the flawed plot element (see Appendix A). He claims to be able to count one to ten, and although he guarantees that to be done "slowly," there is great doubt that he would let his CPU sink lower than, say, the likes of the original XT machine. In any case, you recieve a physical warning, and are told to "get off this rock." There are two solutions that can enable you to rid the galaxy (and yourself) of the terribly muscular Android. Since the creators of the game favored one with more points, that will be the solution that I recommend. Another (easier) solution is presented below nonetheless.

Another option, of course, is to run and hide. In other words, you would disobey a direct order, which means, as we all know it, WAR. After Android drops you down, instead of going South, go left. Enter the leg of the monster. Inside, there is a tiny elevator. Walk to it, and ''press button''. As you begin your ascent, you may wish to save your game. On top, there are two hooks, and some sort of a machine, that appears to have a massive rotary protocol. You've seen this a million times... Your gut knows what to do! But I'll walk you through it nonetheless... First and foremost, move quick: this is what we call an "action" sequence. Go to the ladder, and upward behind one of the hooks (the bottom-most one is definitely easier to get to). As soon as you get upstairs, Android makes an appearance, and although he has some walking issues to get to you, he approaches and quick! When you see something that resembles the snapshot below, ''push hook'', and watch Arnoid get ruined in a rather cheap way.

Phleebhut

Congratulations: you have obtained a perfectly legitimate spaceship for a grand total of 0 buckazoids... But we can do better: search the cushion to find seven buckazoids. [10] Look at the screen to be taken to your computer. (2) will take you to the navigation system. Scan twice (1), to locate the Planet of Phleebhut in sector 39. Press (2) to set course, and select Light Speed (5) to proceed. After learning that you are followed by a bloodthirsty android, you are well on your way.

Once a flashing message attracts your attention, press (3) to land on the desert surface of Phleebhut.

Killing Android: The "Hard" Way

Know Where To Run

In any situation, given that someone tells you that you need to go do something, two possible outcomes are possible: you either do what you are told, or you disobey on purpose. In this version, you follow what Arnoid tells you to do. The spoiler is this: Arnoid does not play fair, so instead of following his directions completely, we have to improvise to flip the script on him.

Begin by going south, walk one screen to the right, and go south again. This portion is a little difficult. Remain in the background on this next scene until you see Android's footprints in the sand, and walk one screen to the right. Here you will see your spaceship. Do not go in. Instead, walk down around a green structure and return to the previous screen. Follow the red trajectory drawn on the images below to make the little vicious pod creatures catch and ruin the Android. His invisibility belt is our next concern, so use orat to get belt. The appropriate position of Roger is shown below. [35] Walk one screen to the right to reach your ship.

Walk up to the ruins and take the belt. (Interestingly enough, "use orat to take belt" also works here, but Roger does not use the orat, and does not get the mad points.) Fester will fetch you. Return to your ship (From the main entrance to the building, go South, East, South, East.)

After Killing Arnoid

After entering the ship, sit and look at the screen. Turn on the engines (1), and Takeoff (3). Once you're back in space, look at the screen again, and use the Navigation System (2) to set course for Monolith Burger. Select Light Speed (5) for easy traveling.
