There are four weather conditions that can affect the battlefield that you are playing on.
- Normal: The stamdard weather, has no special effects.
- Rain: No matter if fog of war is on or not, the entire battlefield is covered in fog of war. Not only that, all units suffer -1 to their range, with a min range of 1. Fog of war conditions apply.
- Sandstorm: Reduces the max range of all indirect units by 1, but their max attack range will never go below their min attack range.
- Snowstorm: Doubles the amount of fuel used by all units (2 fuel per square moved). You should keep a careful eye on all naval and air units - especially submarines.
CO Penny / Lili / Roumi of the Intelligent Defense Systems (IDS) CO effect is all to do about the weather. All her units are unaffected by the weather and her CO power will randomly change the weather conditions for 3 days.
Map Terrain
There are four different map terrains:
- Normal
- Desert
- Snow
- Wasteland
Dispite their name, do do not have any special effects and merely change the look of the map you are on.
