Template:All Game Nav Brain Lord is a lesser-known and less popular Enix game. Soul Blazer, Terranigma, Actraiser, EVO: The Search for Eden, Dragon Warrior 5 and many others all gained far more noteriety.
However Brain Lord does have its own unique feel. It concentrates heavily on puzzles (hence its name), with combat almost as an aside. Some of the puzzles are stupidly easy while others are very frustrating indeed. It also featured an innovative system of magical helpers known as Jades that could be summoned from various precious stones found or sold throughout the game world. These Jades would light dark areas or fight or perform various other tasks, and could even level up (not unlike Pokemon) after killing a certain number of foes. Template:GFDL Article
