Castlevania: The Adventure (ドラキュラ伝説 Dorakula Densetsu?, lit. "Dracula Legend") (mistakenly referred to as The Castlevania Adventure) is the first of three Castlevania games released for the Game Boy.
Starring Christopher Belmont, the story revolves around Dracula's periodic resurrection. The story would be concluded in Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge.
Versions
The game was originally released of the Game Boy (in black and white) in 1989 in Japan and North America.
It was re-released for the Super GB in 1997 in Japan as part of Konami GB Collection Vol. 1.
It was re-released for the Game Boy Color in 1999 in Europe as part of Konami GB Collection Vol. 1.
