In contrast to Need for Speed: Shift, Need for Speed: Nitro is the first game made from the ground up to be made exclusively to Nintendo Wii and DS. Like Need for Speed: Undercover, this game is an arcade racing game incorporated with Burnout's drifting and the use of nitrous which is the prime attribute to winning the race. However there won't be any online support but will have a great multiplayer experience with co-op racing for the first time and multiple control choices on the Wii console.
