The Bison Troopers are characters exclusive to the live action Street Fighter movie and the arcade game of the game that was based off it. In the movie, they served as General Bison's Stormtrooper-esque henchmen who were there merely to take Bison's orders and get defeated by the heroes at the end. With the release of the Street Fighter movie arcade game, one playable character and three hidden characters were Bison Troopers. Blade, the initially playable one in red, was the only one to have an ending after the game was beaten by the player using him.

The Bison Troopers have been compared to several characters in the Mortal Kombat game series. Because of Blade's knife-based special moves, he was blasted as being a cheap knock off of Mortal Kombat character, Kano. The cyborgs as a whole were similar in appearance but had color coded uniforms making them similar to the ninja characters Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile and others from Mortal Kombat. When Capcom redid Street Fighter: The Movie for the home consoles, the cyborgs were omitted. All four Bison Trooper characters were played by the game's designer, Alan Noon.

Story

Blade

Blade was mysterious Bison Trooper with a penchant for using deadly weaponry. Using weapons like a stun rod and several daggers, Blade's mission was to protect General Bison and eliminate those who oppose him. In truth, Blade was Guile's brother, working undercover for him for years, infiltrating Bison's forces. When Guile defeats Bison, Blade is free to return to his life as Gunloc, professional wrestler for the Capcom Wrestling Assosiation.

Other Troopers

Arkane, Khyber and F7 were Bison Troopers that were three, experimental cyborg Bison Troopers. Each of who had their own specific attributes. Arkane, the cyborg with a blue uniform, uses electrical attacks and stretching limbs in battle. Khyber, the cyborg with a yellow uniform, has the ability to use fire attacks similar to Dhalsim's. F7 , the cyborg with a black uniform, all of Blade, Arkane and Khyber's moves. None of these characters have a storyline past their description.
