Walkthrough[edit]

Map of the Hangar

The first area requires approaching the four closets in order. The first is directly in front of you but you should face away in order to see a Sargent attack from behind. Enter the newly opened closet, looking backward, to catch another Sargent. Entering the third closet will release an imp and sargent at the same time, and entering the final closet opens the eastern wall.

Continue east to the hangar observation deck. When you cross the lower step, the window will lower, allowing sargents and chaingunners to attack you from afar. Flip the right switch to close the window. If you need an invisibility, flip the left switch.

Head down the north exit, and at the junction, take the up stairs leading south. You should eventually reach a room that has a set of items on tables. Press the blue panel infront of the blue key to lower the center table. Grab the item on it, then get the blue key.

Return to where you started and open the door on the south wall. From the short corridor, you can reach the yellow key.

Using the yellow key, head to the east into the hangar, and go to the north-west section. Open the yellow key door to enter a teleporter, where you can reach the red key on the north.

Return to the starting location to open the red door and exit.

Side areas[edit]

From the corridor leading to the blue key area, there is a spiral staircase. Heading down the stairs and side corridor leads to a supercharge.

After getting the blue key, a door opens in a side corridor. A switch is located here that reveals a computer map in the spiral staircase. However, monsters will also teleport into the hangar observation deck as well.

Behind the blue key is a door that may be opened to reach a super shotgun after a short corridor. Entering this area will release enemy chaingunners or sargents in the blue key room.

South of the hangar deck has a few monster closets in a row, with only two medikits.

After teleporting to get the red key, you can open the door behind you to get a rocket launcher. This will also release two cacodemons.

Blue armor is at the southern part of the platform where the red key is located. Collecting the red key first will open a set of imps and soldiers, and collecting the blue armor proper will release Barons of Hell.

There's a shortcut from the yellow key to the hangar observation area.

Secrets[edit]

The three secrets in this map are clustered in a small area.

  1. From the north exit of the hangar observation area, head down the stairs and down the stairs to the north. The odd-textured wall reveals a backpack. (Sector 169)
  2. If you instead go south, up the stairs and turn right, the odd textured wall provides access to a chaingun. The floor behind the door triggers the secret. (Sector 106)
  3. Retrun from the chaingiun secret; the wall across reveals green armor and shells. (Sector 91)

Multiplayer[edit]

There are no changes to the layout of the map on multiplayer.
