Wario Land 4/Item Shop

The Item Shop is the room in the hallway before the Boss Room. You can buy items in a shop by earning Frog Medals in the Mini-Game Shop. The purpose of the items is to lower the health on a boss so that they are easier to beat. Many bosses, except Golden Diva, have exactly one weakness item, which can reduce their health to only two counts. If you choose to buy an item other than smile, Wario and the shop guy will immediately move to boss room and start fighting.

Notice: the shop in the Entry Passage does not provide the latter four damaging items.

Vizorman		4	6	8	The shop guy brings a robot, which will shoot a beam and damage the boss for 2-6 damage.
Bugle		6	9	12	The shop guy brings a bugle and shoots musical notes to the boss for damage. Deals critical damage to Spoiled Rotten, and 3-5 damage to other bosses. This item is the worst item on average in terms of cost to damage ratio.
Black Dog		10	15	20	The shop guy turns into a black dog and bites the boss for damage. Deals critical damage to Catbat, and 7-9 damage to other bosses. This item is the one most effective against the Golden Diva, dealing 8 damage to them.
Large Lips		10	15	20	The shop guy turns into a pair of lips and kisses the boss for damage. Deals critical damage to Aerodant, and 5-9 damage to other bosses. This item on average deals the most damage of any item, and is the second best item in terms of cost to damage ratio.
Big Fist		10	15	20	The shop guy turns into a large punch and smashes the boss for damage. Deals critical damage to Cuckoo Condor, and 6-9 damage to other bosses.
Black Dragon		10	15	20	The shop guy turns into a black dragon and spits fire to the boss for damage. Deals critical damage to Cractus, and 7-9 damage to other bosses. This item on average deals the least amount of damage of the four items unlocked after Spoiled Rotten.
Smile		Free	Free	Free	The shop guy makes a smiley and nothing else happens. Deals no damage to any bosses.
