Mega Man

Mega Man is the main protagonist of Mega Man 2. He was originally a humanoid robot who was designed to be a Robot Master named Rock created by Dr. Thomas Light; however, Rock was later made into Mega Man after Dr. Light's former partner, Dr. Wily, had attacked the city with other humanoid robots. He stopped Dr. Wily but the doctor unfortunately escaped. Now he must stop Dr. Wily's newest creations from taking over before it is too late. Mega Man is equipped with twin arm cannons and a weapon copy system, where he can copy any other Robot Master's main weapon.
Roll

Roll is Mega Man's sister. She is a personal assistance robot created by Dr. Thomas Light and was designed to clean, operate, and take care of households. She was also created to keep her brother Rock company. Her name was designed to coincide with her brother's (Rock and Roll- get it?). Roll currently stays at Dr. Light's lab.
Dr. Thomas Light

Dr. Thomas Light is a brilliant scientist who created Rock, Roll, and Mega Man. He worked with Dr. Albert Wily, who later became jealous and greedy of Thomas' other robot creations. Wily eventually stole six other robots, reprogrammed them, and attacked the city. Fearing the worst, Dr. Light transformed Rock into Mega Man, a fighting humanoid robot. Mega Man eventually stopped Dr. Wily and restored peace- but Wily came back with eight of his own creations. Light now aids the Blue Bomber in his quest to bring back peace before it is too late.
Dr. Albert Wily

Dr. Albert Wily was once an accomplished scientist who worked with Dr. Thomas Light. Wily eventually grew jealous of Light's work and wanted to achieve his own ambititions. He stole six of Light's creations, reprogrammed them, and attacked the city. Dr. Wily was stopped by Mega Man but luckily escaped from the robot. Plotting revenge, Wily created eight of his own robots and now plans to attack the unsupecting world once more.
