This is a list of the items found in Final Fantasy V other than weapons and armor. If available in shops, the buy price is twice the sell price (unless noted otherwise). Shops lists the cities where the item shop carries the item. Drops/Steal list the monsters which drop the item when defeated/from which the item can be stolen.

Rare and key items
This is a list of the rare items found in Final Fantasy V.
- Memento: Default for Bartz. This is memento of Bartz' father. Bartz leaves it at his mother's grave if you stay at the inn in Rikks Village.
- Pendant: Default for Reina & Faris.
- Canal Key: Obtain from Zok in Tule after you complete the Wind Shrine. Disappears when you open the canal gate.
- World Map: Obtain from the wreckage of a ship in the Ships Graveyard. Use to view your position on the globe.
- Adamantite: Obtain from Tycoon Meteor after Galuf remembers where it is.
- Dragon Grass: Obtain by beating the Dragon Grass boss in Valley of Dragons. Used to cure Krile's sick dragon.
- Whisper Grass: Zeza gives this to you when you enter the Barrier Tower so you can communicate with each other,
