Bunny Day is Animal Crossing's equivalent of Easter. The event ran from April 1st to April 12th. Like in other Animal Crossing games, Zipper T. Bunny would appear to run the Bunny Day Event. Unlike in other Animal Crossing games, the player will need to find Bunny Day DIY Recipes and find the hidden eggs to be able to craft ask of the Bunny Day Items.
The first time the player enters the game on of those dates, Zipper T. Bunny will be somewhere on the island and if the player talks to him he will explain how the event works and then will give the player a Bunny Day Bed DIY Recipe. He will also tell them that if they are able to craft all the items, he will give them a special prize at the end of the event. After that day, he will not appear until Bunny Day, which is the last day of the Bunny Day Event.
On Bunny Day, Zipper T. Bunny will give you the recipe for the Bunny Day Arch. If you craft all of the items, he will then give you the recipe for a Wobbling Zipper Toy, and once you craft that, the final prize is a recipe for a Bunny Day Wand. Also, if you give him 1 of each egg, he will give you a Bunny Day Basket.
Eggs
There are 6 types of eggs the player can find: An Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, and a Water Egg. The player will need to do different activities to find each egg.
Earth Egg
Earth Eggs will be hidden in the ground, marked with a star, like fossils. Use a shovel to dig out the egg.
Stone Egg
Stone Eggs appear from rocks on the island. Hit a rock to get stone eggs.
Leaf Egg
Leaf Eggs will grow on normal Hardwood Trees. Shake the trees to get leaf eggs.
Wood Egg
Wood Eggs will appear from trees. Chop the trees with any type of axe.
Sky Egg
Sky Eggs will appear from Bunny Day themed balloons that will occasionally appear in the sky. Shoot them down with the slingshot to get a sky egg
Water Egg
Water Eggs will occasionally be fished out from the river or the sea, similar to how you catch a fish. Use a fishing rod to fish out and get a water egg.
