Bunny Day is Animal Crossing's equivalent of Easter. The event runs from April 1st to April 12th. Like in other Animal Crossing games, Zipper T. Bunny runs the Bunny Day Event. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, however, the player needs to find Bunny Day DIY Recipes and the hidden eggs needed to craft the Bunny Day Items.
When the player enters the game on those dates for the first time, Zipper T. Bunny appears somewhere on the island. Talking to him has him explain to you how the event works and he gives you a Bunny Day Bed DIY Recipe. He also tells you that if you are able to craft all the items, he will give you a special prize at the end of the event. After that day, he will not appear until Bunny Day on April 12th.
On Bunny Day, Zipper T. Bunny will give you the recipe for the Bunny Day Arch. If you craft all of the items, he gives you you the recipe for a Wobbling Zipper Toy. If you finish crafting that, he gives you the Bunny Day Wand recipe as a final prize. If you give him 1 of each egg he gives you a Bunny Day Basket.
Eggs[edit]
There are 6 types of eggs the player can find: Earth Eggs, Stone Eggs, Leaf Eggs, Wood Eggs, Sky Eggs, and Water Eggs. The player needs to complete different activities to find each egg.
Earth Egg[edit]
Earth Eggs are hidden in the ground and are marked with a star like fossils. Use a shovel to dig out the Egg.
Stone Egg[edit]
Stone Eggs appear from rocks on the island. Hit a rock to get Stone Eggs.
Leaf Egg[edit]
Leaf Eggs grow on normal Hardwood Trees. Shake the trees to get Leaf Eggs.
Wood Egg[edit]
Wood Eggs appear from trees. Chop the trees with any type of axe.
Sky Egg[edit]
Sky Eggs appear from Bunny Day themed balloons that occasionally appear in the sky. Shoot them down with the slingshot to get Sky Eggs.
Water Egg[edit]
Water Eggs can be found in the river or the sea, similar to how you catch a fish. Use a fishing rod to get Water Eggs.
