The International Museum Day is an event held from May 18 to May 31. The fish, bug and fossil galleries in the Museum will each have three stamp stations. To get a stamp, find the station and interact with it. It will tell you a summary about the section you are in and then you're free to stamp your card.

Every island will have their stamp stations in a different part of the museum. There are designated spots where the station may appear and the stamp station locations are chosen randomly from those designated spots. Every day those stations change meaning you get a new stamp card and are able to interact with those stamp stations again.

Completing the Bug, Fish, and Fossil stamp cards rewards you with the Bug Plaque, Fish Plaque, and Fossil Plaque respectively. To claim your prizes, talk to Blathers once you have collected the three stamps from one of the sections and he will give you the corresponding plaque. You are able to collect multiple of these plaques if you complete the new stamp card you are given every day.

Bug Section

The stamp stations may appear in the following parts of the Bug Section:

Name How To Get There Description
Singing Forest After entering, walk straight ahead and the station will be there.
Sun-Peel Path After entering, head North and then take the first left and the station is right in front of the stairs. There's something very relaxing about this space.
Shady Path After entering, head North past the path that goes left, and the station will be there right in front of the stairs. It seems like the temperate-climate bugs are relaxing here.
Giant Tree After entering, head North towards the giant tree. The station will be to the right of the giant tree. It seems the bugs gather for tree sap at night.
Quiet Bench This station be in the flowery area. To get there, head straight then go up the stairs next to the water. The station will be in front of the bench. Sometimes it's nice to take a short breather and relax on the bench.
Dragonfly Bridge Head towards the giant tree and to the left will be a wooden bridge. The station will be in the left corner of the bridge. The reason you can see so many dragonflies near water is because that's where they lay their eggs!
Coconut Corner This station is right below the left side of the wooden bridge. I bet tropical bugs get to go surfing and lay out on the beach all the time.
Butterfly Garden This station is in the butterfly room. Just head straight after entering the Bug Section, and head into the entrance. The station will be in front of the fountain. Sitting on a bench at this fountain... is about as classy as it gets.
The Lab Go past the wooden bridge and into the entrance to the next room. Then from there, go up the stairs, and the station should be to the right, in front of the lab. I bet some groundbreaking research goes on here.
Bug Farms This station is in the same room as The Lab station. Go there, then head up the stairs, and the station will be on the left. It's like I'm part of a bug community. Hi, bugs!
Hiding Bugs This station is in the same room as The Lab station. Go there, then head all the way to the left and it will be to the right of the entrance leading to the Butterfly Room. Bugs: Masters of disguise!
