The basic introduction to the game is moving into a new town as a young human. You answer a few questions that define your gender, name, and face. Possibly hair too but I am unsure on that part. So you meet a buisnessman Tom Nook the raccon (it's debatable if he is the hero or the villain) who sells you a house only to find you don't have any money. He then throws you into debt giving you a goal to achieve. After that Nook will run his shop and you will sell him various items to make money . He'll buy everything from bugs to fish from you to help you make a buck. But once you pay off your debt then he expands your house and once again throws you into debt again and again.

== Your Home ==
Your house is a primary part of Animal crossing. There are three main parts of your home The size, the inside, and the outside.
The inside is furniture and music. I can guarantee you will endlessly find youself seeking that perfect bed or couch and stumbling onto cool stuff to put in your house.
The outside isn't so important it's just your roof color and door pattern. Roof color doesnt do anything but it does help set the mood of your house. THe door pattern is a pattern you make and put you onto your door.
Lastly the size of the house is a major goal of all animal crossing players. Players constantly try to sell that fish or that fossil to get enough money to get the next expansion.
