Banjo-Kazooie/Characters

Banjo

Banjo is a honey bear from the Banjo Kazooie series. He always wears bright yellow shorts, a sharktooth necklace and a bright blue backpack. The backpack contains his good friend, the loud-mouthed red-crested breegull Kazooie. Banjo also has a younger sister called Tooty. The three of them live at the base of Spiral Mountain, located on the Isle O' Hags.

Kazooie

Kazooie the Red Crested Breegull is one of the two title characters in Banjo-Kazooie. At the beginning of the first game, she resides in Banjo's backpack, in his home in Spiral Mountain. Unlike Banjo, who is calm and mild-mannered, Kazooie is more impulsive and mean-spirted. She tends to argue a lot with Bottles and Mumbo Jumbo very easily. She also tends to give a sarcastic commentary when some event develops.

Tooty

Tooty is sweet and kind and loves going on adventures with her brother Banjo. She has blonde hair tied in pigtails, wears a pinky-red shirt with a yellow star in the middle and purple trousers. She plays the flute/piccolo in a band with Banjo and Kazooie.

Bootles

Bottles the mole is one of the main charaters in the Banjo-Kazooie series of games. He is a stereotypical geek, with large, thick, cokebottle framed glasses (hence his name), and is pretty pudgy.

Mumbo Jumbo

Mumbo Jumbo is a shaman that lives in his many skull-shaped huts scattered around the lands visited within the game. he offered his assistance to the bear and bird team with useful (and sometimes comical) transformations in exchange for his missing Mumbo Tokens. He also had his own level, Mumbo's Mountain.

Gruntilda

Gruntilda, also known as Grunty for short, is a witch who serves as the villain of the game. She is a stereotypical witch, with green skin, warts, a witch's hat and a hideous cackle. She considers herself to be beautiful, despite her obvious skin condition, and has a habit of speaking in rhyme. However, her attempts to modify her appearance only lead to her having less than what she started off with.

Brentilda

Brentilda is Grunty's nice sister that can be found throughout Grunty's lair. If you find her, she will replenish your health and tell you embarrassing facts about Grunty.
