Description: Quick Man's stage is one of the most challenging levels in the game. Why? Well, there are lasers in the stage that can kill you in one hit. His stage is set in an industrial base; it's pretty short but can present a problem to some. If you don't want to deal with the lasers, you can just use the Time Stopper (which freezes time). The stage doesn't feature any pits but it features the Sniper Armor enemy from Flash Man's level. Besides the lasers, Quick Man's stage is rather easy.

Walkthrough: Use Item-3 to grab the extra life on the left because you may need it. Drop down into the opening and keep going to the left, avoiding the Scworms; drop down into the next area. Go to the right and hug the left wall (as in staying very close to) as you drop down. As soon as the areas change, avoid the lasers by going down into the next passage and staying on the right, dodging the lasers as you go. Your rewards for staying on the right path is an E-Tank, an extra life, and some weapon energy. Now go down into the next opening and keep going to the right, where you'll encounter Changkey Makers, enemies that throw fireballs. If you destroy them, your only source of light will disappear but don't worry; all you have to do is keep moving to the right. When you reach the very end of the passage you'll have to jump because there will be a platform in your way. Keep jumping until you reach an opening (the lights will mysteriously come back on) and hug the left wall as you're falling.

Quick Man's stage: the memorable scene where you must dodge instant-kill lasers as you drop down into the next few areas. If you get struck, you will immediately die and have to start at the beginning of this area.

Now comes the real challenge. You have two choices: you can use the Time Stopper to avoid all of the lasers or you just keep dodging them as best you can. If you use the Time Stopper, you may not have enough energy to use it on Quick Man, as it is his weakness. When you use the Time Stopper, all you have to do is just keep dropping into the next areas as fast as possible, picking up any weapon energy for the Time Stopper along the way. If you decided to go the hard way, here's the passage you should memorize once you go inside the room: jump on the middle platform and quickly drop down into the next room. Keep going to the right and jump down immediately into the next area. Walk to the left as fast as you can and go into the next room. Just keep going to the right and then walk to left immediately; hug the left side as you drop down and you'll dodge these lasers easily. Now drop down to the right, then left, and finally hug the right side wall as you drop down. As soon as you land however, a Sniper Armor greets you, so dispose of him quickly. Keep going to the right and destroy the next Sniper Armor (you can keep walking off-screen and killing the new Sniper Armor that will take the old one's place to get some weapon energy for the Time Stopper). After you do, enter the nearby chamber to encounter Quick Man!

Robot Master

Strategy: Quick Man will rapidly move around the room, throwing boomerangs and trying to crash into you. Since Time Stopper depletes double as rapidly as Quick Man's health, it is advised that you save your Time Stopper and use Air Shooter or Mega Buster on him instead. Best yet, it is advised that you shoot a Crash Bomber on the left wall and hug that left wall. This way the bomb will explode on Quick Man, most likely hitting him twice, although you will take damage from him, but it shouldn't matter, because you'll defeat him faster this way. He will occasionally walk around the room after jumping or firing boomerangs, so use this time to fire at him. Then pause when Quick Man's life is down, depending on how much Time Stopper you have (half-health, if your Time Stopper is full), activate it, and just kick back and watch the Time Stopper freeze him until he bursts to pieces! When he's destroyed, you'll get his weapon: the Quick Boomerang!
