Mu Online contains a veriaty of jewels and potions that are used to upgrade items, or to have effects on the character itself.
Jewels
Jewels are generally used to make better items, or make items better.
All jewels take on square of room, and they all disappear after used once.
Jewel of Chaos
Main article: Mu Online/Chaos Machine
The Jewel of Chaos is the most basic and common jewel (even though it is not very common).
This jewel is a yellow/golden hexagon shaped, and it is used in a chaos combination.
It is dropped from any monster stronger than an Elite Yeti.
Jewel of Bless
The Jewel of Bless (often refrered as bless or B), is used to upgrade items. It has the ability to enhance an upgradeable item up to +6.
This jewel is very rare and very valuable in trades.
This jewel can be compressed using the Lahap NPC, making stacks of 10, 20 or 30 jewels, thus allowing many jewels to take less room.
To use this jewel, you take it by clicking it, then putting it on the item you would like to upgrade.
Success rate is 100%. If the item is +6 or more, or it is not upgradable, the jewel will remain in the air, and will not be dropped.
Jewel of Soul
The Jewel of Soul (often referered as soul or S), is used to upgrade items. It has the ability to enhance an upgradeable item up to +9.
This jewel is rare and valuable, and it worths about half a bless (2S=1B).
This jewel can be compressed usin the Lahap NPC, similary to bless.
This jewel is used exactly the way bless is used, but the success rate is dropped to 50%, or 75% if the item has the Luck option. If it fails, one of two things will happen:
- if the item is +6 or less, it will drop by 1 level.
- if the itm is +7 or higher, it will drop to +0.
Jewel of Life
The Jewel of Life (often referered as life or JOL), sis used to enhance an item's option. It has the ability to enhance an upgradeable item 7 times.
This jewel is ultra valuable and rare, and worth 2b - 5b.
It dropps only from places like Tarkan or Icarus.
This jewel CANNOT be compressed using Lahap.
The item is used the same way as bless and soul, and it's success rate is 50% (or 75% with luck). if it succeeds, an option will be added to the item, up to 7 times (+28 in armor sets and weapons). if it fails, the option will disappear.
Jewel of Creation
The Jewel of Creation (often refrered as JOC), is generaly used to awake Dark Lord pets (see Mu Online/Pets).
This jewel is very rare and will only drop from Icarus.
Jewel of Harmony

Potions
All potions are drunk, and take on square of space.
Healing Potions
These potions are used to raise your health. As you probable already know, if your health reaches 0, you die.
You can stack these by puting one potions onto another, up to 3 potions a stack.
Apples
These are used to raise the health of very low level characters. They drop from just about evrey low level monster, and are also available from th vendor.
Small, Medium, and Large Healing Potions.
These are use to raise the health of low, medium and high level characters respectively. They drop from monsters but the easiest way is from a vendor.
Mana Potions
These are exactly like healing potions, only they raise your mana instead.
Small, Medium, and Large Healing Potions.
These are use to raise the mana of low, medium and high level characters respectively. They drop from monsters but the easiest way is from a vendor.
Antidote
These potions are used to cure poisioning. Great potion for Dungeon and Lost Tower 1-2.
AG and SD potions
Note: these potions are only available in Season 2 Servers. It is not yet obtainabl in the global server.
These are used to raise the shield level of a player (yellow bar, next to the HP).
Potion of Bless and Potion of Soul
These give special abilities to a player, only to be used in Castle Siege.
